This is quite blunt considering it's the BBC.
Summary
Nigel Farage has won the Clacton by-election, which was boycotted by other major Westminster parties

Farage won 22,239 votes, with Count Binface in second with 9,455 votes

The contest was triggered when the Reform UK leader resigned as an MP last month, in order to have a by-election he would stand in

Farage made the announcement while under investigation for a £5m gift he didn't declare

He didn't attend the result declaration in person, with Reform saying police advised against it - the BBC understands that is not the case

"I am damned if I am going to stand on a stage, having won a resounding victory... and be demeaned and humiliated by nobodies," Farage told supporters before the result was confirmed

Turnout was 44.37%

How surprising. I'm surprised.
Screenshot from the BBC website:

At about 03:00 BST, Farage told supporters at a Reform UK party - branded "Farage Fest" - that he would not be attending the Clacton declaration as he would not be "demeaned and humiliated by nobodies"

A Reform UK spokesperson later said Essex Police has advised Farage "not to attend the count tonight due to a credible threat against him"

However, the BBC understands that Essex Police has not advised any candidate that they should not attend the count

Screenshot taken from the Nation Cymru story entitled "Reform UK would introduce ‘patriotic’ history and make schools fly Union flag".

Reform UK’s would-be education secretary, Suella Braverman, said: “Tory and Labour governments have failed a generation of young people with a substandard curriculum that undermines academic rigour and national identity in favour of promoting their mass migration agenda.

“Reform will end this. As education secretary I will introduce a new curriculum that will rekindle national pride and ensure that every child leaves school with an understanding of what a privilege it is to be British.”

Screenshot from the Guardian story about Reform's plan to bring back the two child benefit cap in order to fund help for pubs. It reads:
"At the Reform UK press conference, Lee Anderson has just outlined his party's plan to help pubs. He said it would cost £3bn. And he said Reform UK would fund this by repealing the bill to remove the two-child benefit cap.
This means the party would reimpose the cap for most families. The only exception would be for families where both parents were British and working full-time."

Section of a letter from David Lammy to Sarah Champion.
It reads: "The Government has carefully considered the risk of genocide, including when permitting exports to the F-35 global programme. The high civilian casualties, including women and children, and the extensive destruction in Gaza, are utterly appalling. Israel must do much more to prevent and alleviate the suffering that this conflict is causing. As per the Genocide Convention, "the crime of genocide occurs only where there is specific ‘intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group." The government has not concluded that Israel is acting with that intent.”

"Palestine does not meet the international law criteria for recognition of a state, namely, defined territory, a permanent population, an effective government and the capacity to enter into relations with other states." And why do you think is, shit-for-brains?
Screenshot from the BBC news website:

Some of Britain's most distinguished lawyers have warned the UK government that recognising a Palestinian state would breach international law.

In a letter to Lord Hermer, the attorney general, a group of 40 members of the House of Lords, many of them lawyers, write that proceeding with recognition would be "contrary to international law" because important criteria have not been met.

The BBC has not been able to obtain a full list of signatories, but according to The Times they include the prominent barrister Lord Pannick KC, the former Supreme Court judge Lord Collins of Mapesbury, the former justice minister Lord Faulks KC, and Lord Shamash, the Labour Party's solicitor since 1990.

Part of the letter says: "Palestine does not meet the international law criteria for recognition of a state, namely, defined territory, a permanent population, an effective government and the capacity to enter into relations with other states.

"This is set out in the Montevideo Convention, has become part of customary law, and it would be unwise to depart from it at a time when international law is seen as fragile or, indeed, at any time."

Screenshot of a BBC article on today's Supreme Court ruling on the interpretation of the equality act. It reads -

The Supreme Court was asked to decide on the proper interpretation of the 2010 Equality Act, which applies across Britain.

Lord Hodge said the central question was how the words "woman" and "sex" are defined in the legislation.

He told the court: "The unanimous decision of this court is that the terms woman and sex in the Equality Act 2010 refer to a biological woman and biological sex.

"But we counsel against reading this judgement as a triumph of one or more groups in our society at the expense of another, it is not."

He added that the legislation gives transgender people "protection, not only against discrimination through the protected characteristic of gender reassignment, but also against direct discrimination, indirect discrimination and harassment in substance in their acquired gender".
