iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Thanks! I'm trying to learn Jetpack Compose by doing this app so faced lots of rough edges on the way (having to wait 5+ mins to actually test a properly performant app on release mode, debug is v slow), easier than XML on Android though. Ktor is sort of cumbersome esp when dealing with plugins

For now dupe posts suffice while I test top app bar nested scrolling in Jetpack Compose 🤷‍♂️

I wish I could finish actual post thread support BUT fricking procrastination...

Why do light rays hate concave lens? Because it separates them from each other.

How does one "visibly" connect with another if they practically ignore all comments except a close circle? 🤔

SimpleBear @simplebear.bsky.social · 19/01/2024

Wish I was in that circle though, haven't been really active on bsky as of late

I recognize some of these people so no need 🤷‍♂️

Aww, looks similar to mine when sleeping.

Nearly a few days until my exams start, time to stop getting addicted to social media for now I guess 🤷‍♂️

I thought it'll keep asking for food and cuddles

You like tech because of its "kindness", this doesn't make sense.

Oh I see, what do you like about them?

What do you think of bluesky?

Do you think they're pretty great tech?

What is Greenland, and what is Threadbox? The former is a WIP native Bluesky client for Android I'm working on currently, open source at github.com/itsWindows11... For Threadbox, see the post I made earlier.

Hello world! Haven't been posting in bsky for a long time, with announcing Threadbox and engaging with some other communities, what happened to me at the start of the new year and exams, I wasn't really able to be active here. Hopefully if I don't procrastinate, more Greenland + Threadbox progress.

Since there isn't much competition in the music streaming space, why not bring back Groove? #FluentFriday

Temporarily taking a break from social media until the new year, so expect significantly decreased activity from now until the end of next month (exams) Will still check in every day or two, but 100% guaranteed will post something next Friday. Hope y'all have a great day and start of the new year!

Guess some RSS feed readers aren't recognizing my Bluesky profile feed apparently... (this is Read You app for context) @emily.bsky.team?

Screenshot of my own bluesky client (Greenland)'s notifications page, but a bug with the background causes the text to be almost unreadable.

Thanks to @thatjoshguy69.bsky.social for the icon, @chr.bsky.social for Ozone which made things much less quirky in app development, and devs @bsky.app for the hard work on the AT Protocol. Can't wait to see it federate with ActivityPub servers one day too!

Sky is clear, but the land mown stays as is. I finally nailed navigation animations in Greenland (my own bsky client), but can't showcase that here since no GIF support, so here's a screenshot of the home & explore page (latter has a page bg bug I'm still investigating). Oh also icon in image 3, 4.

Hmm 🤔 clicking on the facet in your post triggers that invalid handle bug and also I can follow that account...
