$4.5B for pipelines, $34m for resulting damage from pipelines.

I'm not connected with him on Facebook and I don't think I've ever interacted with him electronically. The man is clearly obtuse and it's no surprise he's a Trump supporter.

This is what you're missing out on! The artist/author is drinking with us and signed the books for the rest of the customers.

Anyone got an inside line on how to do this?

For the last 3 months I've had a regular checklist item that pops up on my phone every 6hr to, hopefully, build a new habit.

"Start as we mean to go on" and lovely British-ism that North American businesses don't do.

I think this is a very good argument against AI, or at minimum a cautionary tale to carefully review costs. When you have competing products that are difficult/impossible to compare cost that means you have an immature market and unhappy customers. I suspect this is intentional.

Because of "stuff" I don't want to go far from home and don't want to interact with anyone. So tonight to meet my buddy I paddled around the point to the pub (45min). I locked my boat to an old steel post on the beach. We had a few beers and chatted.

I wonder what sort of speeds you could hit in a recumbent, hydrodynamic "pod" powered by geared pedals.

Wales is so cool you can upload video/pics of bad drivers and they'll issue tickets based on your report (I've had them reach out and confirm a ticket was issued and once I was asked to attend court)

@brandonyan.com and @stickers66.bsky.social A company has made a cartridge that goes into old cameras but takes digital pics of 4mp. So you can use an old camera but take digital pics.

LLM code isn't even above average... People building with below average tools find the tool isn't good enough long term.

Insurance Corp of British Columbia (gov) said there was no long-term, lasting effect and denied there was nerve damage. So explain why [only] my right leg does this and the twitching correlates directly to pain levels.
