I’ve gotten a steady bunch of those over the time I’ve been on Bluesky. I feel like it definitely comes in waves.

I’m sorry to hear about your stolen patio items. With that said, I love your linework! Go Pokémon!

That’s so funny! Our kitty daughter, Mileva, spends most of her time outside. When she comes inside to eat, she shakes herself like a dog and all this dirt and bugs would come flying off her. We even saw a few big spiders come off her, which explains why we have so many spiders in the house, lol!

I’ve had to redo my working process for this page 5 times, lol! At least I have a better process for making comics that’ll be a bit more efficient. The middle page in the pic had blue penciled work that were erased.

Also, your work is super awesome! Love Pokemon! You did your ink work all in just the Micron 005?

Here’s a new comic banner. All the characters in my comic are based on our kitty family. I added another kitty character (Dawkins) who’s a stray we’ve been feeding for almost a year now. Going from left to right: Lionel, Mileva, Darwin, Hypatia, Charlotte, Pierce and Dawkins.

A lot of kitties like to sample what their parents like to eat and drink.

Just finished a stint of 5 paintings in two weeks and man, NONE of these came easily. I spoke to a class last week and was asked how I keep going when the creativity isn’t there and here’s my answers to that:

I don’t know why the BlueSky app added a white boarder to my comic 😕

Panel 2: Hypatia’s sleep is disturbed by the growing sounds of traffic.

That’s such a good idea! I use page templates as well, but drawn on another piece of paper and I use a light table to transfer them to thicker paper. Templates are so useful.

Extras. No black and white pic of the comic because I forgot to take a picture of the art before I added color. :( #Cats #SunnyDay #OutofNowhere #Family #Babykitties #BehindtheScenes

Rough drawing of the comic at full size.

A pic of my desk with art supplies used to make the comic.
