I’ve had to redo my working process for this page 5 times, lol! At least I have a better process for making comics that’ll be a bit more efficient. The middle page in the pic had blue penciled work that were erased.

Here’s the old one.

Here’s a new comic banner. All the characters in my comic are based on our kitty family. I added another kitty character (Dawkins) who’s a stray we’ve been feeding for almost a year now. Going from left to right: Lionel, Mileva, Darwin, Hypatia, Charlotte, Pierce and Dawkins.

Learning the basics.

All The Baby Kitties by Simone K. Mitchell © 2025

Panel 1: Hypatia talks to Pierce in the yard.
Hypatia tells Pierce, "You keep getting in trouble, Pierce, because you're not spraying right.
Pierce responds, "I'm trying, Hypatia."

Panel 2: Hypatia further explains, "It's a mist, not straight up peeing. Do it like this.

Panel 3: Pierce, heavily contemplating what Hypatia said to him, "Mmmmm..."

Panel 4: Pierce exclaims with the enthusiasm of finding pure gold, "You mean like this?"
Hypatia screams, "EWWW PIERCE!!! NOT LIKE THAT!!!" after Pierce, lifting his leg like a dog, and with a stream of pee so powerful, that it bounces off the wall of the house where Pierce was peeing on, and soaks poor Hypatia!

On a nice and sunny day in the backyard, Mileva and Pierce sit together on the grass and watch as their mother walks by.

Panel 1: Pierce says, "There goes mom."

Panel 2: Pierce thinks to Mileva, "I wonder what mom is making for dinner tonight?"

Panel 3: A nice moment of silence among these two kitties.

Panel 4: Mileva abruptly says out of nowhere, "I'm calling the police on that lady!" Shocking Pierce!

Panel 3: Woman exclaims as she prepares to walk out the door for work, "Mondays always suck, but at least I won't get..."
Panel 4: "Wet..." Woman says, as she gets all wet from the surprise rain.

My Dinner... #Cats #Dinner #Manners

"All the Baby Kitties" by Simone K. Mitchell © 2025

Panel 1: Darwin the cat asks his father for some of his food. As much as he can get, of course.

"Wah!" Darwin utters his usual, baby-goat like commands.

"Darwin! You want some of what I'm eating?"

Panel 2: Darwin's father responds, "I don't think you'd like this anyway".

Darwin enthusiastically says, "Wah!"

Panel 3: Darwin's dad gets up from his chair, "Let me get your baby kitty food." With emphasis the word, your.

Panel 4: Darwin's dad returns.

"Darwin..." Darwin's father says with a sigh as his kitty son helps himself to a good portion of his dad's food, using his father's fork and knife, like the fine gentleman that he is.

"It tastes good to me!"

And life goes on.
