A 16 bit version needs only 2 bytes for SRC and 3 bytes for DST and X2 while an 8 bit version needs only 1 byte for SRC and 2 bytes each for DST and X2.
I haven't particularly optimised this, so there are probably a few bytes that could be shaved off - e.g. using Y instead of one byte of DST.
