New in ICES journal: length–weight relationships for Pacific yellowfin tuna aren't fixed — they vary by region, season, depth & bait. We find a "linear safe zone" (98–161 cm) and show data source matters more than model form for biomass estimates. Open access 🐟 doi.org/10.1093/ices...
