Having a ton of fun designing Wavy Road’s menu screen. I love how the game scene sits behind everything and adapts as you navigate. Watch how smoothly it transitions into gameplay when you hit play.

Here’s a look at some of the 20+ areas and 40+ vehicles in Wavy Road.

I’ve been wanting to build this game for 15 years. Now I finally have. You control the road. The car follows it. Don’t crash. Players go through 20+ different areas, complete missions, buy vehicles, and unlock achievements. As a sucker for infinite runners, it’s nice to finally have built my own.

Here’s a Canvases widget I use every day. My local gym has a gate that you open through their app when entering and leaving. The app is ugly and slow. So I made a widget that shows how many people are currently at the gym. Tapping it runs a shortcut that lets me check in or out and opens the gate.

Made a couple of small upgrades to this little app. - Hold Cmd to instantly open a folder in my selected agent without creating a temporary workspace. - Hold Option to open an alternative agent, making it quick to switch between, for example, Codex and Claude Desktop.

I built Stroke Counter late last season and tested it on the course, but didn’t get it shipped before the season ended. With golf season starting again, now felt like the right time ⛳️ strokecounter.app

Introducing Stroke Counter for Golf 🚀🏌️‍♂️ I got tired of those tiny plastic stroke counters. They break, get lost, and you end up buying new ones all the time. So I built Stroke Counter for Apple Watch. A simple way to count strokes from your wrist. strokecounter.app

The past couple of days, I had an itch to scratch. So I built Cubby. Drag files into a shelf and instantly open them in Codex or Claude in a temporary workspace. I can also spin up an agent in an empty workspace.

wut? is my tiny and extremely opinionated CLI for managing Git worktrees 🪾 Git worktrees are powerful but too tedious for short-lived sessions. wut? makes them easier: • auto-ignored .worktrees/ per repo • simple commands to create, remove, and jump between worktrees

From busted Ascaso Steel Duo Plus to a Linea Mini R… what a powerhouse 😍 After a 6-month battle with the retailer I got (most of) my money back for the Ascaso, and now I’ve replaced it with a La Marzocco. Feels like a machine I’ll be pulling shots on for a long, long time ☕️✨

Designing the widget editor for countdowns was trickier than I expected. I wanted flexibility without clutter, and needed to communicate that text and countdown can work together to create a more descriptive widget. Pretty happy with the result 😀🎄

When I built my first Mac apps years ago, getting them to launch at login was a total pain. Today I learned about SMAppService, which now makes this trivial. So naturally, Festivitas for Mac will have a "Start at Login" setting in the next update. developer.apple.com/documentati...

A fun challenge in building Festivitas for iOS is that widgets cannot be animated. Traditional animation APIs simply do not work there. I had to get creative to make it work, and I wanted to do it without using private API, so Apple (hopefully) won’t shut it down just like that.

040

Simon B. Støvring @simonbs.dev · 25/11/2025

Now that the app is out, I can finally talk about its development 😄 I was honestly surprised that Apple approved the app on the first try, even with the “Name a fair price” IAP screen. It still feels like the sort of thing App Review would push back on. I'm happy they didn’t.
