I'm going to say, D: Nintendo. They published Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. They created Phanto in Super Mario Bros. 2. I'm not even going to show a picture of the Ocarina of Time Shadow Temple mini-boss. But the scariest thing about Nintendo, is their lawyers!

No way I could do 9. Every time I start to think about it, I want to break out into a Disney princess song, (or Animaniac) where I list all my favorite games, genres & creators. "Adventure, fighting, RPG! Driving, building Sim City! Puzzle, real-time strategy! Platformers, shooters, mystery!"

Who would ever say it's not? Wing was my anime gateway! Everyone else was obsessing over DBZ but THIS brought me in! I loved it so much, I learned how to 3D model and built my own Deathscythe! Everyone had so much character and flavor to their design! I wish it had some games retracing the campaign.

Soon... I wonder if this re-release will crash the outrageous re-sale market for physical copies.

Show me a cool physical game The Diablo 3 that-should-have-been (Collector's Edition). From the masterminds of Diablo 1 & 2, a wild ride from conception, development, publishing deals, loans, being sold, losing IP control, alternate versions, & fan revival over a decade after the servers went down.

Simon Ashtear @simonashtear.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

Show me a cool physical game. Physical & only physical. It came out right before digital distribution hit mainstream. Never re-released. Publisher defunct & vanished. Individual developers all scattered to new jobs. Challenging to run on modern hardware. GOG! Do your thing!🙏 #GOG

Jim Henson's Lord of the Rings! Discuss! Who would you re-arrange, and why? I'm not 100% solid on even my own choices. I might swap Fozzie and Gonzo into Legolas and Gimli. But then who takes THEIR places? Is there room for Rowlf, Sweetums, Professor Honeydew & Beaker? Frodo? Balrog? (NOT FINAL)
