I actually did that too in primary school… the tea was a little stewed, but delicious. The dinnerladies & school cook used to make me tea from then on… easier than carrying a flask with my Enid Blytons…

Nobody did a song-n-dance number quite like Stanley Baxter - from original broadcast, I remember smiling, singing along and tapping my feet.... (How did I not know....?) Such a hugely underrated talent. Huge influence as long as I can remember - voices, impressions and so on.

I cannot describe the utter joy at going to sleep under a duvet in a beautifully cold air-conditioned room. It’s SO gorgeous! I know it’ll be ridiculously hot when I venture back outside tomorrow… but for now….. Sigh. And Goodnight 😊😊😊
