Have a complex query relying on simple-ish math ChatGPT is a much better option than Google. Son & I were looking at Chilean license plates wondering how many permutations with their format. XX-XX-## Voice prompt > answer 8 seconds: ~46M Humans are in trouble. Compare to ~4M total vehicles!

3. Know your limits - less #SEO & more sanity 🤪 No one expects 24/7 availability… ok to push, but respect your time & energy! After this shot was taken, the wind built to over 25 kts. I capsized. I should have come back to shore before then but pushing myself beyond capabilities = swim not heroics

2. Be aware of your competition, even if they aren’t right behind you. I’ve lost a few races by focusing on who I thought my competitor was while another boat sailed by. In #SEO look for the business and SERP competitors, then filter those by SEO-driven & marketing focused. That’s your competition!

Things I learned from sailing that I apply to #SEO 1. Patience The wind will always come eventually if you set your course & sails right to catch it. Doing the right things in SEO, adding value to the web & understanding your users intents and needs almost always wins, it can take time & patience!
