I don't like tooting my own horn, but I am a great ape. I have written two books. The first was a novel. The second analyzed litigation challenging the 2020 election. Both were written using a pseudonym because of pervasive bias against gorillas.

If a general loses battle after battle, he gets replaced. If a coach loses when the team should have won, the coach is fired. But for some reason Democrats keep the leadership that led to Trump being president and the GOP running Congress. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQjw...

I watched Hakeem Jeffries being interviewed. I can't say that he put me to sleep; but half way through each answer I wished that I was asleep. Dem approval ratings are in the toilet, but Dems keep the leadership that brought them to these historic lows. Weird. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQjw...

What makes Trump so different is that on a daily basis he commits outrage after outrage. The news reports his media ban, his inability to tame prices, his stupid war, his efforts at election interference, etc., etc., etc. Nodding off during a boring meeting is the least newsworthy thing Trump does.

An even better follow-up: "Fox News settled libel claims for almost a $1B. OAN settled after libeling two women it accused of rigging an election. Could it be that inaccurate reporting is okay when it fits with Trump's agenda?"

The follow-up question should be, "Can you identify any media outlet that has not, at some time, reported something inaccurately." Mistakes happen in every industry. Why pick on one business?

The piece doesn't really advocate . . . anything, except the notion that politicians must pursue all trans-friendly policies, no matter the cost. Lots of rights are endangered these days, not just trans rights. Politicians will advance none by dying on a hill the public is not ready to go over.

You may be right. OTH, Macklemore is pretty well off himself. So it's not like Sheeran quitting in solidarity will save a young artist from poverty. Judging the guy, or anyone, from social media tidbits is not for me. My sympathy goes to whoever the mob wants to tear apart.

I do not question his sincerity or patriotism. To the contrary, he violated the law knowing the result would be arrest and probably a dishonorable discharge. Clearly a courageous man. But, the military cannot be involved in politics. Any exception leads to a slippery slope. So, no exceptions. None.

I hear a lot of people quick with opinions about what Ed Sheeran should have done. So far none of them have known a thing about his contractual obligations or what it would have cost him to renege. High horses must be selling cheap. So many people ride them.

If you are okay with uniformed military protesting the civilian government, then I guess you are okay with the uniformed military actively campaigning FOR people in high office (Trump)? Wear civilian clothes and say what you want. Otherwise, stifle yourself. It's not a bad rule.

Every day Trump does something outrageous. BUT on Sept. 4 he threatened to stop trading with countries "with which we have a deficit." He's like Cleavon Little in "Blazing Saddles," holding a gun to America's head, "Do as I say or the bitch gets it!" It's beyond stupid. This is batshit crazy!

Do you people never learn? First hold hearings. Get the evidence. Let the public see the evidence, and the arguments. Get the public (and not just Dems) angry. Only then talk about impeachment. Due process is not just a fundamental right. It is a great strategy.

I was a trial lawyer. Sometimes opposing counsel would be a ass but I quickly learned the judge did not want to broker disputes. When you say Dems should go after the GOP about an issue, the undecided public will be like the judge, upset at both sides. It will say, "A pox on both houses."

Chuck Todd does a pretty good job explaining the gerrymandered mess Missouri is in right now. A federal judge ruled that voters will be disenfranchised if a new districting may is tossed. It is ironic to argue not adopting a new map will disenfranchise voters. That was the point of the new map.
