Thanks to Institut suédois for hosting this talk on soft power and my new book, with Eva Nguyen Binh, Gallagher Fenwick and Madeleine Sjöstedt. No coincidence that both institutes were founded after world wars. Dangerous to forget that soft power and cultural diplomacy are peacekeeping measures.

You have a point there, but Trump could not be there without the overwhelming support of congress, that enables the mad man. And it does not look like they bother with the standing of the US in the rest of the world. So, even if he shrivels tomorrow, the rest, Miller, Vance, Heritage, is still there
