I find the issue is the game sucks without the added vibes of vr. Which also can suck because it's some of the worst vr I've seen in a hybrid game. Really dumb it's still in such a state after all these years

Been playing some half life Alyx. I'm enjoying it so far though I feel the constant hold of the gun would be better with hand straps. The game very often feels like I'm supposed to have those. I don't really like the constant hold of items anyway. Feels weird. The inventory for it seems nice though.

Played Half-Life Alyx through the streaming option instead and it looks much better. Though when moving out the van and sometimes when snap turning the visuals did mess up. Other than that it looks better. As for playing. For some reason the height is messed up when in game but not in main menu

I am happy though to use this to get out of the meta ecosystem. I will be keeping it and hoping to learn through the issues. Like why desktop mode wont let me open steam in it. I forgot to say that part doesnt seem to work well, I didnt do much in it though. Just get a discord client to install dmvr

Overall the sad thing is despite how much money I spent on it I will need to spend more in order to fix issues I have with it. The ergonomics kit things should really have been included. I may need to find a cheaper one third party. Prescription lens will also be needed as currently smudging happens

So that's not good. I really hate that there's no headphone jack. If there was this wouldn't be a problem. I could simply use headphones and the mic likely wouldn't pick it up. It makes it not good for using it in multiplayer games. Which VRchat is one of the most popular vr games.

The pointer lasers were on buttons instead of the joystick, changing card positions was on trigger instead of a button. Other than that it was certainly playable. Though a issue is it is a multiplayer game and my opponent could hear an echo from my mic. I was of course using the on board stuff

Stuff also looked kinda bad in the distance possibly from me being on medium settings. Now for DMVR, I got some duels in surprisingly. At the start nothing really worked, no lasers and couldnt grab things. After a restart though it seemed to work much better if mapped weirdly.

Also when I played beat saber I had to hold the controllers weirdly in order for it to feel natural. I also tried playing Half Life Alyx a bit standalone visually I think I could see a fuzzyness from the foveated rendering stuff. Might be because of me using the spacer.

When using the spacer due to glasses I can very much see the edges around the panels which is annoying until I'm actually focusing on the game. I still feel I need to get lenses as I feel removing the spacer would be better plus it would probably make it a more comfortable fit, as would a head strap

Had the steam frame for some hours now. Controllers do seem strange to hold. I really wish those wrist straps werent out of stock. I feel I could get used to them though. Still want the straps though. Wifi streaming for beat saber is bad but seemed fine with the dongle. Personal space made it bad

That does sound interesting. I do like when they try to take advantage of aspects only VR can offer. I checked and noticed some reviews talking of a buggy save system and items not loading in properly. Has the game recieved updates to fix that kind of thing or is planning to?
