I found a collection of tiny hagstones my daughters collected 15 yrs ago & realised most of them are also faces. Focussing on small good things is one way I hack my brain on days when depression’s winning. These tiny horrified faces (they saw last night’s Traitors👀) pinged good dopamine in my brain…😮

Still struggling with my mental health tbh, especially around low income & ‘failing as a human’ (this may be internal ableism tbh) BUT Dave my garden robin now comes to say hi every day, even when there are mealworms outside step for him. He seems to like visiting me. He lifts my mood a lot tbh:

A necklace commission I made for a US customer who adores thistles: it started with a Victorian silver thistle flower charm, I made a recycled silver flower bud & thistle leaf, added a facetted peridot & fluorite (I think the natural stripes echo tartan just a little)& a clover-shaped charm holder☘️ :

I confess I don't really know what means - would the silver sulphate have oxidised the engraved marks so enhancing the design maybe making is bright silver and very dark in the engraving? I do something v. similar with liver of sulphate with my cast silver pieces/charms made from real nature finds:

The weasel in question: miniscule, Georgian, so possibly 200 years old or more, sterling silver, engraved with tiny ivy leaves, still tooting small toots (toot!) and will be in a collection of my jewellery v soon... Completely in love with it tbh...who tooted on it? What stories could it tell?

Mysterious message from an eBay seller yesterday. Apparently everything is fine with the weasel...👀 Has hints of 'Grey squirrel is in Gregg's with the trombone'-some kind of secret squirrelly spy action. Bit sad to realise that I think it's a typo - I bid on & won a tiny silver whistle yesterday...
