Cover image I did for @silverletomi.bsky.social who is ALWAYS a delight to work with. She asked for Disney's Hercules and Meg in an Emo fashion. Which led to a Danny Phantom style. She used it for her cover of Disney's "Go the Distance" www.youtube.com/watch?v=f710... #Art #DigitalArt #CoverSong

PUPDATE!! Now a whopping 30.2 lbs (when we adopted her, she was just about 10!!), Juniper is still the perfect blend of play buddy and snuggle buddy. Today I moved the couch ottoman into my office so she could chill much closer to me even though she doesn't fit on my lap anymore. 🥹

When you've got short fur like Juniper, a now 4 and a half month old Pit/Staffordshire mix, snuggling under blankets is the best way to spend the winter days. Especially when it's mom's heated blanket.

Juniper demonstrating that mom's hands still make for the best pillow as she sleeps on the ottoman mom put next to the work desk.

A zoomed out mess of a photo showing the ottoman moved to be next to mom's work desk, with Juniper curled up on a blanket on top. An abandoned dog bed sits under the window and you can see in the reflection of the standing mirror that Imogen has elected to sleep directly behind mom's rolling desk chair. Again.

Juniper sitting perfectly on her tortilla blanket next to the work desk while she and mom wait for her other blankets and cushions to finish in the wash.

And finally, my new gaming computer is almost fully built! I got a bad stick of RAM that I'll be getting a replacement for later and then... voilà! So I think that's everything in the life update. :)

I'm getting ready for an overseas trip in 2 days- going to a 2NE1 concert with my sister- and have been getting packed, planned, nails, and my hair done! I actually got my hair dyed to a color I've always wanted! So that's awesome.

Juniper is getting HUGE. She's more than doubled in weight since her adoption and has learned come, sit, paw, down, no, and maybe also give (where she lets go of whatever she's holding, one of my favorites.) She's learning stay, off, and "gimme kiss" still.

The fuzzbutts are doing great, clean bills of health for both! Immi, Miss Queen Chihuahua, is on regular heartworm meds finally, and is also still on that slow warm up for Juni. She still won't snuggle with the baby, and there's boundary setting snaps, but she's a good, caring big sister.

Snuggle pupdate! Juni has started holding her right ear up, almost leaning over the top of her head, while relaxing her left ear and it's so stinking cute.

A dog pile of snuggles on Dom (who does not want to be known as a Dog Dad, please)- Imogen, the tri color Australian Shepherd, lays across his abdomen while Juniper, a white with black spots probably-pit mix, lays across his chest.

Juniper, the white with black spots probably-pit mix, curls up with her favorite thing- a hand.

Juniper, a white with black spots probably-pit mix, snuggles across her adopted mom's lap and places her face and front paws across mom's arm.

Juniper, a white with black spots probably-pit mix, watches intently while her adopted mom folds laundry. She's started holding her right ear in a front/top flop while her left ear relaxes to the side and it is super cute.

some really great tips here:

“Insist on doing everything through ‘channels.’ Never permit short-cuts to be taken in order to expedite decisions.”
“Make ‘speeches.’ Talk as frequently as possible and at great length. Illustrate your ‘points’ by long anecdotes and accounts of personal experiences. Never hesitate to make a few appropriate ‘patriotic’ comments.”
“Bring up irrelevant issues as frequently as possible.”
“Haggle over precise wordings of communications, minutes, resolutions.”
“‘Misunderstand’ orders. Ask endless questions or engage in long correspondence about such orders. Quibble over them when you can.”
“In making work assignments, always sign out the unimportant jobs first. See that the important jobs are assigned to inefficient workers of poor machines.”
“To lower morale and with it, production, be pleasant to inefficient workers; give them undeserved promotions. Discriminate against efficient workers; complain unjustly about their work.”

a slightly damp golden retriever puppy leaps toward the camera with his front paws right at the bottom of the frame. his ears are flapping out away from his head a bit, and he has the sweetest look in his eyes. his tiny razor-sharp teeth are pristine, and his tongue is a little wrinkled like it doesn’t fully fit in his face yet.
