I saw the Bayeux Tapestry today. Despite the somewhat rushed experience, it is truly awe-inspiring to stand before something so old, each stitch placed by the skilled women embroiderers of a conquered people, and preserved and cared for by generations. It's astonishing that it still exists at all.

I love all these ideas and especially that he got decent sleep and that he was tickled by the 35 stuff. I also love that recently he has gotten to wear sunglasses at the C shows, which I’m hoping might be a bit of a psychological and physical comfort from the flashes and being watched so intensely.
