It will never not be confusing to have just someone roll up on me, hate my entire existence, and my ass never met them. And I will never get an explanation for this.

Been kinda hard at work on some shit that will look crude as I'm sure there's a more efficient way to actually do this, but honestly fuck you don't frame inspect like a dick. I'm learning. Once again, #fuckAI and learn.

Hell, straight up admit you learned by following another's style and encourage the other artist you learned from to also be like "Oh yo that's awesome!" Don't just gatekeep so bad that you've basically enabled this AI slop shit to flourish unchecked.

LockwoodMakuRoc 🍂 // Tanuki PNGTuber/VTuber @silverfoxlibrary.com · 26/09/2026

Like I'm still a budding artist, but holy fuck I wish more established artists would talk about this being okay and actually encouraging people learning either that way, or giving avenues to learn outright publicly. Like, talk about your process, mention that industries ask you to replicate

LockwoodMakuRoc 🍂 // Tanuki PNGTuber/VTuber @silverfoxlibrary.com · 26/09/2026

straight up quit because they're terrified anything they do, tracing or not, will be seen as tracing forever, and either get flung into the AI cult or straight up just stop trying to learn all together because the bar got set high on everything else by proxy into "Be perfect magically, or quit."

LockwoodMakuRoc 🍂 // Tanuki PNGTuber/VTuber @silverfoxlibrary.com · 26/09/2026

I really don't think we talk enough about how the whole "Tracing art" debacle has basically poisoned the art newbie well enough that people getting into it are either too scared to admit they may be doing it to learn, or, and this is what happened to me for years now,

This is IMPORTANT. In 6 days, Drexel University will close the oldest natural history museum in the Americas, the Academy of Natural Sciences, to turn a quick buck. This will likely (allegedly) be by selling artifacts to private collectors and the land to real estate developers. Here's how to help:

Finally got around to finishing the Wingspan game tutorial and boy does that shit need some cleanup. Like it's a very fun game, but the tutorial says a lot per chapter early on. But I have SO LITTLE QUESTIONS about how the game plays. So it's clearly effective.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was trying to sneak out a quick investor interest, since any time someone makes shit with AI, money gets tossed around all willy-nilly.

Honestly he could have genuinely either made a Linux Native, which isn't hard supposedly, or just talked to the WINE devs for help. I am still extremely early in my in-execution dev journey, but I do talk to enough devs to know it's doable. Just baffling to use AI to connect to WINE.

Fanart for Mina the Hollower. It shows Mina, a cartoony beige mouse in a red tailcoat, sitting on the windowsill of what appears to be a library. She is wearing reading glasses, holding a book and looking at the viewer proudly. Outside the window are orange and yellow trees, and the drawing was made using warm hues, signaling that it's currently autumn.
Text in the center of the image reads: "get ready for autistic girl autumn".
