It would be funny if that was consistently an option, and the other party members( I assume this is party based) get increasingly annoyed at your complaining.

Why would you willingly put yourself through a Capstone Game?

silhou3tte.bsky.social @silhou3tte.bsky.social · 03/03/2026

It has a story, yes. What's unique about it is you create a fully voiced( you choose voices for your characters) party of four adventurers and you control all of them and they all chime in during dialogue.

I'm so sick of people using AI in this way. Using AI can't make up for a lack of talent. Or vision. Or ideas.

What I find funny is that they based Racoon city in South Africa in that very short lived Netflix series. it’s very cheap to film here, so that’s probably why.

silhou3tte.bsky.social @silhou3tte.bsky.social · 03/10/2025

But are you enjoying the game? That's the most important thing. I'd also recommend playing the original game and comparing the differences between the Remake and the original. Also, Classic RE2 is a must play. Probably my favourite game in the series.

Illustrations of (mischievous) adventure from the Underworld... The Ultima Underworld! Adorable scenes to fuel your imagination as you delve into the depths, snapped from the Japanese clue book for Ultima Underworld.

An adventurer charms derpy-looking snakes with the aid of a flute

As an adventurer hunches over a boxy crt monitor and base unit PC in a brick wall dungeon, monsters creep up behind him and watch as he plays

A kneeling adventurer waves his hand frantically as he consults a book in a dark maze while a frog looks on unconcerned by his antics. It's a chill life being a frog.

An adventurer makes his way down a dark passageway lit only by a spotlight of torchlight, while two monsters creep up behind him, one pointing at the 'Kick me' that's been stuck on his backpack while a smaller goblin like monster prepares to do just that

This is really impressive. I envy your collection. I'd get into buying big boxes but gaming where I'm from isn't as big, and I doubt there are many collectors locally, which means I'd have to import, which I'm not particularly fond of.

I'd recommend playing the remake and then also playing the original. It'll make you appreciate what the remake set out to do more. If you can't get the original set up on an emulator, try the enhanced edition. It's the closest thing to a PC port we have.

I don't know if the PS1 version has better controls, but I'd seriously like NightDive to remaster/rerelease both games. With a more user friendly control scheme this could be a real banger, at least from what I played of it.
