Where was my dad during these weekends? Hunting, camping, dragging my poor brother out to do manly things. My mom and I went antiquing and art/craft fairs between movies. She was really my best friend. I fucking miss her a lot.

My teens were full of movies like Working Girl and Dirty Dancing so that I'd be one of those that fought for others when I grew up. She knew the world I was born into, and what my father was, and our "chick flick weekends" were something to admire.

Today would have been my mother's 72nd birthday. My husband and I are going to Candyland (est. 1952) to get her favorites, then we're going to watch Dirty Dancing, my mother's favorite movie. I probably watched it over 100 times with her growing up. Happy birthday, Mom. I miss you.

Yup! Lots of double blind. I always check "yes" when they ask if my data can be used, and "anonymous" for the info. It's helpful for medical science, honestly. As someone who used to work in that field 😂 please, please check the box

Yes, so many of us are coming out of this with undiagnosed PTSD! I would honestly like to see the data on it - collecting data was one of the things I focused on back in my days in the field, and this is one decade I can't wait to see.
