I kinda wished Bride of Frankenstein didn't end the way it did. Sure, love at first sight would've been a bit much to ask, but what if they formed some kind of bond? A mutual friendship and respect for each other. Not love per se, but united against a world that hated them.

Watching Johnny Quest, Turu the Terrible. My favorite episode. I always wanted at least a comic book mini story telling how the old man in the wheelchair raised Turu. It was the first time I saw anything with an antagonist who had some depth. The old guy actually cared for that pteranadon.

All I know is that if some moron in a clown costume tries to scare me, let me offer a word of advice: Don't. Oh you could maybe startle me, but not scare me. I've lived with depression and dread most of my life. Also, I tend to carry protection against that sort of thing.

Born and raised in Pennsylvania. Sometimes I miss it, I think. But to be honest I love where I live now more. It took me too long to realize that I didn't miss Pennsylvania. I missed 1980s Pennsylvania. The places, now long gone, restaurants, malls, and mostly my younger carefree days.

So I stopped and picked up some souvenirs for the neighbors who watched my place while I was at the funeral. Just some random stuff but the Dolly Parton coffee mug and the shot glasses were a hit. I'm grateful to live near such good people.

My brother in law's funeral went off pretty good. It was a quiet affair with no drama however I felt overdressed since the majority of people there were in blue jeans and a decent shirt including my Dad. It did feel nice to see some relatives probably because it was a controlled setting.
