And one final announcement: I've started work on the Sportsky app! This will be a social media app built on Bluesky, entirely dedicated to sports. It will include all of the above, and a lot more I have planned. You can follow that project @sidelineapp.bsky.social.

Finally, my favorite piece: Highlights! These are videos from across Bluesky that were posted during the game, in chronological order, and with deduplication to remove repeat highlights. You can watch as the game unfolds, and pickup wherever you left off.

I'm very excited to announce v2 of Sports is live, just in time for the end of the World Series! This is a major update, but the headlines are: • Support for the NFL, NCAA Football, Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, and UCL. • New UI with favorites, top stories, standings, and highlights!

I'm starting the work of spinning Sports out of @boostblue.bsky.social, and part of that is coming up with a name for the new dedicated sports app. Anyone have suggestions?

I spent the weekend building out European football support in Boost Sports. Here's a preview of the new UI, highlighting the Premier League.

Question for anyone who’s taken a look at the Sports page in Boost Blue (or who just wants to chip in from this screenshot): Did you think these cards were tappable? What did you think would happen if you tapped them?

Baseball games are fun. 94 degrees with humidity is not. #Padres

Good opportunity to test @boostsports.bsky.social live at today’s @padres.com game.

Crosstown Classic, script flipped. Two years after a record 121-loss season, the White Sox roll into Wrigley leading the AL Central. The Cubs are the ones chasing. Both team feeds are live in Boost Sports. Pick a side. ⚾

This is an early version, launched to gauge interest. There's an extensive roadmap behind it, including spinning this off into a dedicated sports app. Try it out in @boostblue.bsky.social and let me know what you'd want added!

The page splits by game state. Before first pitch, tapping a team pulls up its feed sorted by "Best of." Once a game goes live, tapping either team drops you into a combined feed for both fanbases, sorted by new, with a scoreboard pinned to the top.
