Let me try this once more. It was a choice. EITHER the Greens adopted a slogan. OR they could have joined the next govt, where they could push for an end to arms sales, sanctions, support for the arrest warrants etc. It was never going to be both. I love the view from tall buildings, so it's great that the UK's highest observation deck at 22 Bishopsgate is free to visit and only a few stops on the Tube from where I work. It's fascinating to see London at different times of the day across the changing seasons.

I never met Jeffrey Archer but friends who worked with the serial liar suffered. I did meet his “fragrant” wife at a party, head to foot in ice blue: hat, dress, jacket, bag, shoes - and icy was the word.
