At last. But the problem for the NAO is that Whitehall simply does not learn. Capita’s utter failure to to deliver a basic online service has been rewarded by them being awarded another contract to run an even more critical service www.theregister.com/public-secto...

The Greens have to realise that not being totally understanding of the nuances and complexity of the origins of a noun, is far worse than slaughtering a population. Britain. Now.

I'd go further and argue Euro membership is an opportunity not a threat whether in trade, financial markets, or how UK personnel could come to shape the ECB. Building a sustainable outcome for the UK in the EU has to look beyond FoM and start engaging with how to integrate in Schengen and Euro

I love the way the members of the right wing community are competing with each other to be the most deranged person on the political scene. They seem to have latched on to the fact that this is a voting incentive amongst their natural constituency.

A person I shared a house with in 1979, who had a bumper sticker “don’t blame me I voted Labour”. Who had a very well paid job with BT until retiring on a good pension at the age of 60. Who voted Remain. Now considers voting for Reform. How does that happen?

Can we please be real about being green. If a UK green policy shifts CO2 production to another country, the policy is not green. It is simply crippling the U.K. Every green levy / extra energy cost that affects business must be analysed for this effect.

The interesting thing the far right have picked up on is that people who actually no longer feel part of their nation (foreigners in their own land) are the people who are ripe for ultra nationalist identity. Literally people who no longer feel English are told a fairytale of seizing control.

I like Evan Davis’ reporting on PM, but the strained reflex “disputed” response to the expert opinion on the disastrous economic impact of Brexit on the U.K. economy, was really off key. And did his credibility no favours.
