Cat update!!! It’s now been 48 hours and he’s been resting & acting totally normal without any issues, aside from a little bit of incontinence. We also have him switched to his prescription food now. Thanks again to everyone that’s been helping, it means the world to us that he’s doing good again ☺️

I was fortunate enough to playtest this and it was amazing!! Can't recommend it enough, whether you want a new experience playing Mother 1 or skipped out on it because you prefer a more EarthBound-like experience. It's so polished I kept forgetting it's unofficial lol

This is my strat for quickly farming bones/levels in Mina the Hollower. I’m sure I’m not the only one doing this, it’s so conveniently placed next to the main town + the save point. Trinkets and weapon upgrades make it go even faster.

Self indulgent mod I've wanted to make for awhile. Adding more variants from the original show's soundtrack to Kamen Rider: Memory of Heroez. Instead of fully replacing tracks, it has a random chance of playing an alternate track any time the original track is loaded.

Introducing Tomodachi Life Lingo Injector! I modified Rafasacari's save editor to allow you to import, export, and edit lingo in bulk. You can even import up to 300 random phrases from @TomoLingo_Dev to make the in-game dialogue fresh, surprising, and funny! Details in thread.🧵

For the hair, I made it the same tone as the skin and used a sub-color to tint it. Also used some subtle yellow eyeshadow and blush to make the skin look translucent (a little hard to see with the compression)

I found that I need to go into the editor again in-game and save changes to re-generate the thumbnail, but other than that, everything works as expected. Enjoy!

STEP 7: Export to save folder. I chose the /Ugc folder in my save as the destination when I exported the converted files. This overwrites the originals. They're automatically compressed for you, so it's ready to go! Simply load the game with this edited save file.

STEP 6: Convert back to game format. Download this tool and run the Tomodachi Texture Tool exe: github.com/farbensplasc... Import your edited image. Select the type of item based on the filename of the image you edited. In this case, Goods. Next, enter the ID. In this case, 10.

STEP 5: Edit your image. You can open the PNG in the image editor of your choice. To preserve transparency, I recommend using PaintDotNet, or you can use GIMP or Photoshop or whatever you'd like. Pick the one with "Canvas" in the name! You can save over the PNG when finished.

STEP 4: Convert image files to PNG. Download TomoKoreFacepaintTool: github.com/Timiimiimii/... Run the .exe. When prompted, enter the number "3" to batch convert. Then paste the path to your decompressed files. This will convert them all to PNG so we can view and edit them.

STEP 3: Decompress image files. Download Switch Toolbox, extract it and run the Toolbox exe. Then, go to Tools > Compression > ZSTD > Decompress. Navigate to /Ugc folder in your save file. Press CTRL + A to select all files. Next, create a NEW FOLDER to use as the destination.

STEP 2: CLOSE THE GAME & Dump your save file. On Switch, I use the homebrew JKSV to do this. On an emulator, you should be able to right click the game in the list and choose the option to open the save data location. Once you have your save, make a BACKUP COPY just in case!!

STEP 1: Make a placeholder in-game! Whether you're editing face paint, an item, or an object, make a crude mockup in-game. This will be useful later when we dump our save, since you'll need to be able to tell which file you're editing. Save the game when you're done.

Here's a thread on how to edit Tomodachi Life custom designs on PC! This lets you use your favorite image editor, and even use high quality photos for face paint, food, pets, interiors/exteriors etc. NOTE: Only works if you have a modded Switch 1 console, or a PC emulator.
