This show has enough jamming in it to scare off the DMB fans here for “N0” who aren’t into jamming.

Felt weird being at the show after what happened and felt weird staying today for Central Park. Headed home to hug my girls and pups. Hope everyone in NY has a safe and fun night, thankful I got to say hi and give a bunch of you a hug.

We got a little nostalgic once we realized ((nocturne)) is a 90’s cartoon theme song 📺 (((trust us, stay for the whole video))) We just wrapped up recording our first impressions of Big Modern! Keep an eye out for our new episode dropping on all podcast platforms and YouTube tomorrow morning!

Grabbed decent uppers for Mohegan and pits for the Milwaukee shows today. Excited for the fall tour!

Nice to hear Torero get a little more runway than the Gonzo version! Still think the new version sounds great live.

Duel of the Fates 🤝 Goontz. The band must be really excited about the new Star Wars movie.

DONALD TRUMP: "I'm suing myself for $10 billion in taxpayers' money!" ALSO TRUMP: "I'll settle for $1.7 billion." STILL TRUMP: "I accept... I just saved America's taxpayers $8.3 billion!" MAGA: "Four more years! Four more years!" ... We truly are living in the stupidest timeline. #uspoli #irs

The plan is to not move from this spot all day. So far so good. My swollen feet need a break after an incredible week here 🤘

Going to do more of a deep dive on this, but just going beat-by-beat I find the sets/improv from Gonzo 2026 to be more interesting than Gonzo 2025. Seems like there’s more jams I’ll revisit this year. Also will fully acknowledge the attendance bias factor here since I wasn’t in Cabo last year.

New arrangement of Torero hits way more in person than studio. Still prefer the original arrangement but that was a lot of fun.

Really fun N1. We are still on east coast time, so absolutely wiped out. Once they switched the Tractorbeam and Disco Biscuits sets we decided to head out early. So nice to see some of you, but need to make more time to say hi the rest of the weekend!

I think this is as good as my JOTY 2025 picks will realistically get with maybe some minor 1-2 slot tweaks. Went with my heart pick by pick of what I’d realistically vote for/what jams I found myself wanting to listen back to the most this year. Please tear my list apart 😆 2nu.gs/4pMcBqc

As we wrap up an amazing 2025, we want to wish everyone the happiest of holidays! It’s hard to believe how much the Slow Ready Podcast has grown. We started the show saying we’d be so happy if a handful of people wanted to listen to us geek out about the music we love.

We walked out of Avatar: Fire and Ash after about an hour. So boring to watch the same mid movie for the third time in a row. It’s just so self-indulgent even during the little bit we saw, drawing out sequences full of the same beats we have already seen for two movies just to amp up the runtime smh
