This particular transparent umbrella design is sold in every single conbini across Japan, and on a rainy day almost everybody inevitably carries it. One of distinctly Japanese aesthetics. That's why I wanted to add it to the game. Oh well, some things are not meant to be.

Every few years I mess with transparent umbrellas hoping to find some solution, but there is none. The only real solution is using special order-independent transp. shaders, but that means 5 FPS even of RTX 5090. Which means there will be no transparent umbrellas.. ˙◠˙ #gamedev

Reworking Takumi. He was kind of rushed for release, I want to delete all the generic "guess painting/painter" dialogues, and replace them with "photographer obsessed with small details/perfection" kind. So that he has a finished and distinct personality. #indiegame #gamedev

There are two common ways for buying omikuji in Japan: 1) directly taking a sealed envelope from a box, or 2) shaking a container to get a stick with number, and opening a drawer box matching that number. Update 0.7 adds mechanic #2 (in the temple of 7 Gods). #gamedev #indiedev
