PM Albin Kurti said in London that Serbia is acting as a proxy of Russia and has 48 military bases near Kosovo. He warned that hybrid warfare is a growing threat in the Balkan. Kurti called for stronger resilience, rule of law and defence capacity amid concerns over Russian influence in Serbia.

Russia has publicly asked the Kosovo government to release a Russian citizen and two Belarusians detained after entering Kosovo illegally. Kosovo authorities arrested them for crossing the border without authorization and are reviewing the case. Moscow has not recognized Kosovo’s independence.
