Oh hey it's almost August and I still have so much to do before Animethon. Con crunch is REAL!

One more work week, and then it's freedom for a little bit. I'm going to be starting Clair Obscur 33 alongside a friend, fixing up cosplays for a local con, and getting my taste buds ready for a Hot Ones Challenge. June is going to be over so fast...

I have made the base of my gauntlets, but I'm still feeling shy about posting them 😥 Once I get the scales on to cover up some oopsies, maybe then I'll post! 😅 But, they are coming along nicely 😉

Limbus Company has been my go-to mobile game the past few days. I'm really enjoying how it presents itself in all aspects. Sounds, visuals, story, gameplay.. It's been solid so far!

I shouldn't be so emotional after getting complimented on my work ethic at work. I don't work with this person, but they said, "You are a really hard worker, and i hope it gets you somewhere one day." I'm done 🥹

One of the elbow guards for Dreadking. Making some good progress. Still need to cut out some scale skin and attach it tonight! Winter is the perfect time to hunker down and craft :)

Oooo, cozy AND pirates?!

One glove done for Dreadking! (Foam, at least. Painting and detailing in the spring). Tomorrow is the next glove, then move onto another bite-sized item. Breaking down the costume into chunks and tackling it that way is helping my brain actually DO SOMETHING. Even if I fail. It's learning!

Shoryia @shoryia.bsky.social · 09/01/2025

Hot damn! I've still yet to get a win. 😭

Fingie I'm making progress on my gloves for Dreadking! I wanted to add talon like tips to the plates. It looks so neat 😍

I will make this version of Kaneki a reality. I don't think I'll make the centipede tentacles THAT long. It would prove difficult to walk around conventions if I do 🤣
