Oh hey it's almost August and I still have so much to do before Animethon. Con crunch is REAL!

Shoryia @shoryia.bsky.social · 15/06/2025

One more work week, and then it's freedom for a little bit. I'm going to be starting Clair Obscur 33 alongside a friend, fixing up cosplays for a local con, and getting my taste buds ready for a Hot Ones Challenge. June is going to be over so fast...

I have made the base of my gauntlets, but I'm still feeling shy about posting them 😥 Once I get the scales on to cover up some oopsies, maybe then I'll post! 😅 But, they are coming along nicely 😉

Had an excellent birthday yesterday, with some great food, winning Flareon at an arcade, and hanging out with my partner all day 😊

Shoryia @shoryia.bsky.social · 17/02/2025

This week has my birthday. Next week has Monster Hunter Wilds. What a great last half of February 😊

Limbus Company has been my go-to mobile game the past few days. I'm really enjoying how it presents itself in all aspects. Sounds, visuals, story, gameplay.. It's been solid so far!

030

Shoryia @shoryia.bsky.social · 11/02/2025

I shouldn't be so emotional after getting complimented on my work ethic at work. I don't work with this person, but they said, "You are a really hard worker, and i hope it gets you somewhere one day." I'm done 🥹

Shoryia @shoryia.bsky.social · 08/02/2025

PSN being down brings me back to 2011... yikes. I feel bad for those affected!

010

Shoryia @shoryia.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

Who else is watching?! I'm so excited to see more Wilds eeeeeee!

One of the elbow guards for Dreadking. Making some good progress. Still need to cut out some scale skin and attach it tonight! Winter is the perfect time to hunker down and craft :)

020

Shoryia @shoryia.bsky.social · 09/01/2025

One glove done for Dreadking! (Foam, at least. Painting and detailing in the spring). Tomorrow is the next glove, then move onto another bite-sized item. Breaking down the costume into chunks and tackling it that way is helping my brain actually DO SOMETHING. Even if I fail. It's learning!

010

Shoryia @shoryia.bsky.social · 08/01/2025

Fingie I'm making progress on my gloves for Dreadking! I wanted to add talon like tips to the plates. It looks so neat 😍

Shoryia @shoryia.bsky.social · 04/01/2025

I will make this version of Kaneki a reality. I don't think I'll make the centipede tentacles THAT long. It would prove difficult to walk around conventions if I do 🤣

Wolfs Rain, my beloved. Our journey is finally ending tonight.

They think I'm being forced to learn dances while I'm in Monster Hunter armor. Jokes on them, I WANT TO LEARN THE DANCES

Leadership at work is non-exsistent and it's frustrating. I don't need my coworkers throwing their weight around at me.

It's almost 2025, I don't feel like I'm ready for a new year yet. Who else hasn't fully recovered from 2020? 🙋‍♂️

I would really like a W before the end of the year.... Water Heater blew last month. Now our washing machine is struggling, and it's an ancient POS. 😥

The best part of having a home gym is blasting weeb music. Oh, and not having to deal with other people 😊
