Was able to get approval to switch my project repos from Azure to BitBucket and holy moly, configuring my pipelines and everything else is SO MUCH EASIER than it was on Azure. I spent minutes setting things up in BitBucket compared to hours in Azure.

Sometimes I stress out over the few console warnings I haven't gotten around to fixing yet. When this happens, I inspect the console on almost any large company's web app and I don't feel bad anymore. 🥲

I love it here even if I feel like I'm shouting into the void. The fact that people can be themselves and be free is sooooo awesome. It's a safe space so far here and I hope it stays that way bc it's obvious people can show their true selves here and be proud. Which is how it should be.

Being a parent means giving up things you like or want to do so you can instead invest in your kid. If you're wealthy it's probably much easier but I'm not so I can't relate on that front. What I do know is my kids are extremely caring & if that's what I contribute to the world it's worth it.

I've gotten to the point in my life where if I'm not respected as a person, I'm not putting up with it. It's been extremely difficult but also very liberating. I don't lie. I treat others the way I want to be treated. I'm done with anyone who doesn't treat me the same.

As a Texan mom, I have so many feelings about guns. Don't like them. But I also live in TX , where women's rights are diminishing by the day & licenses aren't required to carry. Just bc I don't like guns doesn't mean I shouldn't know how to use one. I look slightly psychotic in this pic though.

Twitter allowed me to start freelancing in an agency setting, which I've been doing for over 2 years now. It allowed me to connect w/other devs, and I have genuine real-life friendships from those connections. But I'm also excited for this new chapter & creating friendships here. 🙂
