I trust Joel Schumacher to have the absolute best fashion in his movie Flatliners (1990)

I got that sick liberal arts degree and let me tell ya that AI will never grab hold of me, no matter how prevalent, how omnipresent, no matter how ingrained it gets into people’s lives I will never use this shit intentionally. To rely on AI means denying humanity. We need to hold on to what’s left.

if you are trying to explain what @anyaustin.bsky.social is to someone who hasn't watched:

background of a GTA river, in front is Any Austin's face photoshopped onto Ariel from "The Little Mermaid", at the bottom is that text "Look at this stuff, isn't it neat?"

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Hayden Panettiere. Through her performance as Kairi, Hayden brought warmth, heart, and an unforgettable voice to the Kingdom Hearts series. Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and loved ones.

Tonight’s movie is Snowpiercer (2013) starring Chris Evans in his filthiest role to date probably. Set in a funhouse style frozen world whose only society lives on a solitary train run on the backs of child slave labor. A bit fantastical for a movie, but still an a thoughtful watch

Completely unrelated, I am terribly excited to see what Yoko Taro is going to do with Evangelion going forward. primarily as a Taro fangirl and less of an Eva one, but obviously Eva has never even left the zeitgeist w/ new Rei and Asuka figures continually in production youtu.be/7HnBuEI96-o?...

“Please do this for me!” Bring Her Back (2025) 10/10 horror, I am still thinking about it. 4/5 film. I went in blind and left completely floored at how tragic and visceral this one felt

Out with the old and in with the new. This is a movie only for freaks. Hard to recommend, but very good and there are things to appreciate. Many disastrous choices here propel the plot…. And movie definitely runs too long 4/5
