My GW2 Wayfinder; Daghrite with his newly tamed beast, Orrax. I just wanted to commemorate how difficult this legendary was for me to complete. I'm a pretty casual player and while I've made a good handful of legendaries at this point, this one really tried my patience. Glad it's over. LOL

My Guild Wars 2 character, Wayfinder Daghrite. He's a human necromancer with possessed looking eyes and a scar down his face. He's got on regal looking armor with an emblem on his chest that looks like an eye. He's holding Orrax, the demon from the legendary Orrax Manifested. They appear to be similar, if not the same.
Even the most horrific beasts need time for love and care too.
The rift essence was hell to gather, but the real road block for me was Bava Nisos. I genuinely hate that map :') I will never return. Also I did get the infusion while doing that map and sold it to help fund Orrax, so that was fun! lmao.

Another rough one. This summer has been destroying me. I only managed to get 7 pieces done. I did some writing as well, but... Kind of disappointed overall. lol. Hopefully September decides to be kinder. I need it. I'm so tired. haha.

A digital art compilation of what I did in August 2026!
We can see my main focus is my sweetest, babiest boy Ezra, since most of the work I did is of him. I've also got a sketch of my Wayfinder Daghrite, as well as some works of Malakai, Logan, and Gideon! The last piece shown is a piece or fanart I did for TheCleric. :)
I technically only did 7 pieces of art this month, but I'm showing off 14 so you can see more of the details of what I worked on this time since I had so few. u//u

"Just a warm up sketch". I said to myself, before then spending two hours working on something that I don't even know jack shit about. Anyway, @theclericyt.bsky.social I attempted your WOL. I know literally nothing about FF except... Kefka 😩 Lmao. I DID MY BEST ROFL. (Full res in comments haha)

Cleric's WOL! I don't know anything about Final Fantasy, so rather than butcher a bunch of terms I'm completely ignorant about I will instead just tell you; this is a hansome character :') hehe. Cleric did a great job designing them. I am loving their colors and needed to draw something to share how much I enjoy their colors. I went overboard with the red glow, but you can't actually stop me so... :') just accept fate I love glow.

Also shit, please forgive me for barely posting anything here literally all month. I've been struggling mentally (because why not, as a treat /sarcasm) and I also made an 🔞 alt and I've been feeling more comfortable posting there, even when what I'm posting isn't spicy. :S oops.

000

Shmurfles (not active on this acc!) @shmurfles.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

I'm posting this on main too. T_T I did it. I finished this POS. What an undertaking. lol. Now I take a short break before the next part of the expansion comes out before I work on Kraitkin and Eternal Summer. (I love suffering, especially as a casual player.)

An in game screenshot of the game Guild Wars 2. I have just completed the legendary back piece Orrax Manifested. This was probably the most difficult legendary I've made so far, if only because of the rift essences and having to grind out currency in Bava Nisos (which made me want to quit because I cannot stand that map meta! UGHHHH). But I did it. It is done. Now all my characters can have legendary back pieces and I can cry eternally because that is a lot of ascended back pieces I now need to salvage. RIP.

July is over!! I wish I'd had more time for more AF pieces, but I got became really, really unwell again. This summer has decided I shall just be suffering LOL. At least I did some higher quality pieces this month!! 💪

A compilation of all the art I've done this month! A couple pieces are hidden because they contain spoilers for the personal story I'm writing, so I've blocked them out so friends don't see them =P The last 7 pieces were ones I did for other users over on Art Fight! :)

@shenpai.gay Hope you're having a wonderful birthday full of love and happiness >o<!!!! Here is my first time drawing Voxer properly and not chibi :') I hope I captured his attitude well enough! (Full res/transparent on Art Fight lol!)

Shenpai's OC named Voxer. He is an Aero (a winged human). He's got pale skin and golden blonde hair that matches the color of his wings. His eyes are vibrant green and he's got a bunch of piercings in his ears. Voxer is wearing a pinstripe button up shirt, some brownish gray shorts, and suspenders. He looks arrogant and smug about something!!!
If you're reading my alt text, just know that I hope you're having a wonderful day no matter who you are and I wish you all the happiness in the world!!!! Let Voxer bring you joy!! :')

Nothing makes you want to double down and make the most insane ref sheet of your characters possible like finally commissioning someone seriously and realizing all your current references are embarrassing and chibi. 🥲 Please hold out hope for my sanity as I spend the next 20+ hours drawing Ezra. LOL

Shmurfles (not active on this acc!) @shmurfles.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

Fffsss. I don't know what it is, but I always end up going over the top with Ezra when I draw him VS everyone else. Fully shaded this one because he deserves it rofl.

This is my character Ezra! He's looking into the camera and looks happy and perhaps a little bashful about whatever he's looking at (it's his partner lmao). He's got silvery blue hair that's quite long with two braids in it. He's also got moles on his face, as well as a massive scar that runs down the side of his face. He's my precious baby boy and I love him and drawing this piece made me tear up because this man has suffered so much in the story he's in and he deserves a moment of peace like this.

Shmurfles (not active on this acc!) @shmurfles.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

More Shaye. :') But this time for once it's not a chibi or a shitpost lmao. Just him being precious. As it should be haha.

My character Shaye. He's smiling and looking quite happy. He's got black hair with the ends dyed blue. The ends of his hair hang over his shoulders and onto a teal hoodie.

Shmurfles (not active on this acc!) @shmurfles.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

I feel like dogshit today but I'm doing my best to draw >o< WoooOOO.

My character Jasi, with the angry crusty eyebrows he deserves. Jasi is a humanoid character with freckles on his face and a banded marking on his neck. He has blonde hair and red eyes. He's a bit older and looks a bit cranky tbh.

I have literally hundreds of OCs to pick from to draw. So why do I keep picking the same OC just so I can draw fan service FOR NOT OF my favorite OC. Lmao. Ezra needs more pretty art of Shaye, even if he cannot actually see it because he doesn't actually exist :')

000

Shmurfles (not active on this acc!) @shmurfles.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

It's not time yet, so I had to draw myself something while I wait >o< AHHH.

Art Fight starts shortly. :') Hope everyone has fun! I am going to be trying to participate as much as possible! I cannot guarantee I'll attack back, but I'll be doing my best :') artfight.net/~Mels

I'm on Team Tragedy.
My username on AF is Mels.
I will attack mostly humans and humanoids. But I might also attack anthros and monsters!
I am willing to attack anyone, whether you're my opponent or not. I just want to draw cool OCs!
My features characters are Adryn, Finn, Ezra, Shaye, and Ace.
Ezra is my absolute favorite character so I've given him some extra shine to point that out haha.

Pouty!!! One more for the end of the month. It was a slow month for art since I was unwell LMAO.

My character Emerlee, giving a bit of the stink eye and being grumpy. He's really protective of nature and gets angry really fast if he sees people damaging it. Emerlee has brown shoulder length hair that's a bit shaggy and golden eyes. He looks a bit young, but don't let that fool you, he's not a kid lmao.

Falling asleep to the sound of a heartbeat that had once been lost completely.

My character Ezra, his face rested on his partner's chest so he can listen to his heartbeat. It's a sound he never thought he'd ever get to listen to, and now it is the sound that chases away his nightmares.

A complete shitpost of my character's Finn (left) and Adryn (right). Adryn is biting Finn's shoulder and both of them seem to be enjoying it, maybe Finn a little more than Adryn. :')
I uh. I wouldn't uh... I wouldn't worry about it.

IDK maybe for pride I could actually talk about myself. My name is Mels (she/they!) I'm non-binary, pan & demisexual! I've been married for 14 years. My partner is the first person in my entire life to support me in everything I do. Even if it's spending 100% of my day thinking about my boys. 🫠🫠🫠

A self portrait! I've got brown hair and thick ass eyebrows. My eyes are hazel and I've got to wear glasses so I can see more than 5 feet in front of my big dumb face. I like to wear mustard yellow shirts, I have four of them. :') And I'm thinking about my most favoritest boy in the world. Ezra. >o< He has been drawn as the standing man emoji because bro cannot figure out how to emote to save his life.

010

Shmurfles (not active on this acc!) @shmurfles.bsky.social · 03/06/2026

Today is for Adryn. 🥵 He's the main character in the story I'm writing. The story starts with him having the worst day of his life (so far) and he ends up tangled up in a world he didn't know even existed after turning into a demon. Luckily for him, his destiny drags him exactly where he need to be.

Close up of a character partially shielding their face with one hand. He's got black hair with a dyed layer of yellow that is starting to grow out from the roots. His eyes are dark blue and he has very wonderful bushy eyebrows (I love eyebrows if no one has noticed yet lmao). He's staring into the camera, his expression a bit neutral, but because of his eyebrows he looks vaguely intimidating. :')

000

Shmurfles (not active on this acc!) @shmurfles.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

It's June and I'm celebrating Pride by talking about my LGBT+ OCs. This is Finn. He's a scientist. He doesn't do his job very often because he prefers to piss his boss off. Instead he'd rather be thinking about the one guy he's not allowed to be thinking about. :')

Close up of a character wearing half moon glasses. He has brown and platinum blonde hair. The streaks in his hair are actually genetic :') He's got green eyes and is wearing a choker with a lead pendant on it. He's supporting his head on one hand and staring toward the camera, lost in thought and looking pleased by whatever he's thinking about. ((It's Adryn, he's thinking about Adryn. Literally the one person he's not supposed to be thinking about.))

Close up of my baby Lysidias. Finally cooperated and let me draw him today 🥲

Close up of a masculine character that is smiling. He's got dreads with shining jade beads in his hair and a choker with a square brooch. Overall he's just super cute and I love him ah. Look at how precious his eye is. T___T And I'm back at it again biting my lip over the chunkiest eyebrows. UHhnNNfff.

Changed Donovan's design up a bit when I properly inked and colored these today. I like the moodier eyes and the shorter hair much better. Griff pretty much stayed identical because his design was love from the beginning. <3

Close ups of two characters. Donovan on the left looks rather sleep deprived, has some large scarring on his neck and has short black hair. Griff on the right has burgundy hair with lots of golden jewelry and makeup. He's also got freckles and heterochromia in his eyes. :')

Finn asks a lot of questions and doesn't take the time to consider he doesn't want the answer to some of them. 🥴

Close ups of two character's faces. On the left is my character Shaye. He looks a bit bashful as he's explaining something he's been asked a question about. On the right is my character Finn and his face is filled with shock and regret for having asked the question in the first place. He did not actually want the answer. lol

I have lost my damn mind putting this much effort into this piece. All for a throw away joke that only two people will ever know. LMAO.

Me putting way too much effort into shading something that did not require this much effort. Image depicts a character who is gasping in shock from something. He's got black and blue hair and is wearing a long necklace that is hanging to the side. He's got visible fangs in his mouth, and black markings on his face. He is having a good time. There is a second character in this image, but he's not visible because he's busy. :')
