A car burned out really badly and the engine popped several times at Ikebukuro Station on Saturday going way too fast and everyone flinched from the sound. I was the only one instinctively scared even though I knew not to be.

On plane home. I don’t want to go home. Because I want to stay here, because I don’t want to go back to work, or because I don’t want to go back to my hellscape country? Could be anything.

I would kind of like to read a lady knight book in this recent trend of adult lady knight books where the lady knight is still a knight at the end instead of deciding she would rather live a less knightly and more domestic life with her love interest... maybe the fourth time will be the charm...?

Are these harder fights to have than more normal policy fights? Yes, but our constitutional republic will fail and collapse if these more existential fights are not fought sooner rather than later. We're winning the midterms, we'll win in '28 as well, but we're still losing the war on democracy.

I pretty much only use the Japanese language name if: 1. The English name is very dumb 2. The English name is more associated with a re-edited dub than the original series 3. There's a common Japanese short hand that's more coinvent than the English name.
