Barnes is our best goal scorer once he gets in the box. We should play him there alongside a centre forward with the instruction to get on the end of crosses from the two wingers or knock downs from the centre forward. A new goal poacher perhaps. #NUFC

Well we got the win and Danny Wellbeck didn't score, but we were second best again. How come we rarely win the ball when our keeper boots it upfield? And Pope! A couple of great saves but what a calamity he is at times. Top of the list for next season a new keeper. #NUFC

I don't know what's wrong but it's fair to say that we really haven't played well almost all season so far. Perhaps with all the games we have they don't have enough time to train or try new systems. It's same old, same old, rinse and repeat. #NUFC

Back in 1996 Alex Ferguson made Man U ditch their grey away shirts at half time in a match they were losing 3 - 0 to Southampton saying the players could not see each other due to the grey shirts making them blend into the crowd. Ditch the green shirts lads maybe they blend into the grass! #NUFC

Great, Wembley ticket secured! Interesting that the 3 of us in our group all logged on to buy tickets prior to the 12.00 queue and all at different times. 11.20, 11.30 &11.35. When the queue starts you go thru randomly. The 11.30 only had 10 mins wait, while the rest were over an hour.

The reason I used X in the past was to find out the Toon team sheet as we sit in the pub pre-match and even then we'd just get a list of the players starting the match so we'd be guessing a bit with the team formation. I'm sure Bluesky will be better!

First NUFC game... V Nottingham Forest August 1965, just promoted to the first division, 2-2 and I was hooked, 10 years old! Bloke up the street took me and my brother on his motorcycle and sidecar, happy days!
