Aw, markie got himself a new fancy picture! 🤢 SHOCKING that he is endorsed by Emmert and also former clerk (the laughingstock) Sherry Hall donated to his campaign. www.oregonlive.com/clackamascou...
Screenshot of attached Oregonian article:

"Reaksecker said his campaign has consisted largely of meetings at senior living facilities and other community centers. He's posted about 100 billboard-style signs and 200 yard signs.

On his website, Reaksecker lists endorsements from three dentists, two doctors and Emmert International, the Clackamas-based transportation and engineering company."

Hey, France, do you need any training runs for yours? Image source: www.reuters.com/business/aer...
Screenshot from a Reuters article of a photo of a bright yellow and red plane flying just over the Seine River. In the background are hills covered in green trees. In the foreground is what looks to me to be a child sitting on an adult's shoulders watching the plane.

Caption on screenshot: "A firefighting Canadair aircraft skims the surface of the Seine River while collecting water in Ivry-sur-Seine, to assist efforts against a wildfire in the Fontainebleau forest during a heatwave."

Screenshot from the linked press release: www.clackamas.us/news/2026-06...
Screenshot of press release linked reads:

“Lynch, 47, died of cardiac arrest resulting from a combination of factors: methamphetamine toxicity, physical restraint, obesity and hypertensive cardiovascular disease, according to the medical examiner's autopsy report. A toxicology test found Lynch had 1 500 ng/ml of methamphetamine in her system when she died.

The death was ruled a homicide, which is a medical, not a legal conclusion.”

The final line is highlighted in yellow by me.

I know this is a serious and likely already deadly situation, but kudos to this resident for coming up with "flavor blasted with asbestos."
Screenshot from the linked article reads, ""I feel like we were all being flavor blasted with asbestos, and there's no one here to, like, stand up for us or look out," said resident Jack Martin."

Bribing the president and the FDA and probably giving Amazon Whole Foods a nice break in the wholesale price on shitty (literal) lettuce. Just as long as you didn't get it at Taco Bell with the poors. This place is AWESOME. /s
Screenshot from amazon.com (Whole Foods) checkout asking if you would like to add groceries to your order. The product it is cropped to focus on is a bag of Taylor Farms shredded lettuce, still for sale July 29, 2026.

These chucklefucks. Alt text for article photo: Trump sits at his desk, handing a marker to UT Gov. Spencer Cox, a slender white man standing beside him. Cox, an asshole, is grinning like a weirdo at the pen as he holds the folio with the president's signature and the text destroying monuments.
Screenshot of a Salt Lake Tribune article from November 1, 2024 by Robert Gehrke. The headline reads, "Cox's $7M campaign funded by real estate, finance, and tech interests."

A photo below the headline shows Gov. Cox, a slender, bald white man, in a suit at a lectern. The photo was taken backstage, so his back and profile are visible and he is framed by tall, wall-like set pieces as he speaks to reporters standing in front of the lectern.

"If you see this, I implore you to post a picture from whatever device you're using with no explanation.”
Two tubes of Avon's Flavor Savers lip balm in the scent and flavor bubble gum. The tubes are from the late 1980s or 1990s and are mainly dark purple with a medium pink stripe up the middle with the words "Bubble Gum" and "Gomme à bulles."

At least growing up in the nineteen hundreds gave me memories like this line when my eyelid starts to twitch. ("French Kiss," starring Meg Ryan and Kevin Kline, 1995)

It looks like the logo for a racetrack.
Screenshot of the top of a web page, weathertecheaceway.com in the address bar. The logo lettering is black and red with (I think) the shape of their track in red to the left. Logo reads, "WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca."

Minnesota's did not agreen with me.
The Minnesota Timberwolves' neon green court floor. It features images of the Emirates Cup trophy and "MINNESOTA" at center court and smaller trophies beneath each basket.

Remember that "rich men north of richmond" song MargarineTG and co. loved so much (2023)? With a line specifically about wishing the government cared about miners? She said it was about the "forgotten Americans." And then they all forgot them, too.
Screenshot from linked article reads:
"Now, the facility long entrusted with the protection of miners is among 34 centers in the United States that are expected to be shuttered in one of the most sweeping cuts to the federal agency in years."

Reposting with alt text.
Screenshot reads:

Among the protesters was actor Debra Winger, who has discussed her Jewish faith and upbringing over the years.

Winger accused the Trump administration of having *no interest in Jewish safety" and "co- opting antisemitism.'

"I'm just standing up for my rights, and I'm standing up for Mahmoud Khalil, who has been abducted illegally and taken to an undisclosed location," she told The Associated Press. "Does that sound like America to you?"

I am sorry, he is WHAT now?
Screenshot of a portion of the linked article reads:

""We don't need to hire helicopter pilots by their diversity -- their color or sexual preference, any of those kinds of things," Dan Tooze, vice chair of the Clackamas County Republican Party, told councilors. Tooze was also a member of the Proud Boys as recently as 2021."

The last few words of the final quoted sentence are a hyperlink, which I will add in comments.

Apologies for the ableism, but here's another post from her.
A post from the blue-check Twitter account of author Margaret Atwood says: "My goodness, some of you are good at misreading! To be clear: when HandmaidsTale came out in 85, there was disbelief. I thought a religious-roght takeover was possible in the US, and was Crazy Margaret. Premature, but unfortunately too close. That doesn't make me happy."

Let's not be this guy again.
Screenshot of a post by the blue check twitter account of Margaret Atwood, author of "The Handmaid's Tale" showing a political comic showing women going into a US voting booth wearing red handmaid's robes based on media of her book and exiting in western styles of clothes (pantsuit, dresses, leggings, etc.). Responding to her post, "FacesOutOfContext" has replied,
"The author of that book used Islam, not Christianity, an [sic] a model for her imaginary world. This is obviously true, as it resembles Islamic culture and law, and not Christian"

I've been transcribing Natl Archive records from Japanese-Americans who were sent to internment camps in the United States. Specifically the cars taken from them in 1942. Here are some. I apologize for my sparse alt text, I am not knowledgeable about cars, but years and makers are in the alt text.
1929 Ford convertible. The car's body is brown. The cloth top, fenders, and side boards are black. It has wheels with spokes which are red with white walled tires on them. The front grill and hardware are silver.1929 Ford Pickup. Vehicle, wheels (which have spokes), tires, roof, fenders are all black. There are wood panels along the long sides and top of the short pickup bed. 1929 Ford Model A Sport Coupe. The body is a very dark burgundy. The cloth convertible top and the spokes on the wheels are cream-colored. The fenders are black. The fenders, sideboard, lights, mirrors, and other hardware are silver.1930 Chevy Coupe. The two-door vehicle is dark red, as are the centers of the wheels. The fenders are black, as is the center of the grille on the front of the car. The hardware is silver.

2024 has just been 85% (probably more) of people wholeheartedly answering "yes" to this question.
Black background with white text, slightly blurred, a grayscale band across the bottom has some designs I can't discern. Style is reminiscent of text portions of a silent movie that would appear in between the actors' scenes. Text reads, "Have you so little misery that you must create more?"

Julian would like to headbutt your face with all his love. ❤️
A small brown and white tabby kitty cat's face is shown in close up, upside down. He has a pink nose and green eyes and long white whiskers. His snoot is mostly white, but he has a little brown spot next to his right whiskers.
