Emergency operation, removed the spleen and flushed 3 litres of pus out of him. Only 40% chance of surviving it as he was so weak - he'd lost another 400g in the three weeks. 100

Martin Shipp @shippco.bsky.social · 27/06/2026He was a fat bastard to start with, just under 6k. He just stopped eating and lost a load, usual vet looked at his teeth, said he was fine. Two weeks later he's lethargic and skinny, different vet took a look and sussed a virus, kept him in, gave him many drugs. Touch and go for a bit. Fine now! 100
