Pero cuando se habla de IA en los sectores artísticos-culturales evidentemente estamos hablando de los modelos comerciales de IA generativa (lanzados al mercado entre 2021-2022), desarrollados por un puñado de empresas tecnológicas multimillonarias que se sostienen a sí mismas a costa del extractivismo digital, cultural y territorial; a través de la opresión, del fomento de la desigualdad y del intento de normalización del abuso como práctica empresarial legítima. Empresas como OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc, que conforman el llamado grupo de las BigTech, el oligopolio tecnológico de Silicon Valley, cuyos CEOs responden al tecnofascismo, entre otras ideologías terriblemente peligrosas. Los actuales servicios comerciales de IA generativa, sean de imagen, video, audio, texto, etc, fueron desarrollados de forma ilícita. Desde las principales y más conocidas (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, DallE, Sora, Runway, Suno, Image de Google, Flux, Adobe Firefly, etc) hasta las menos conocidas y que se ofrecen como alternativas "gratuitas", como por ej, LeonardoAI. Todas y cada una están cimentadas en la ilegalidad desde su origen o terminan usando de base datasets y modelos fruto del robo, lavado y explotación de datos, que incluyen datos biométricos y obras protegidas por derechos de autor, entre otra clase de datos sensibles y privados de millones de personas.
