So there's 120 gifts in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, and spread across 60 characters, trying to catalogue their reactions to each for our guide may just kill me. Currently making Cai try every flavor of "Ghosh" and it feels a lot like this.

a mockup of a fake Youtube thumbnail in the style of "trying every flavor of (blank)!" The title of the video is "We Tried EVERY Flavor of Ghosh!!" featuring some photoshopped bottles of kombucha, and Cai and Eshmel making youtuber reaction faces in the corner. I hate it here.

I'm sorry, but there's no NVC episode this week after all. There is a lot going on and I want to make sure we address it accurately and thoughtfully. You can trust that the show has been on my mind constantly over the last several days. Have a nice weekend -- we'll talk next week!

After 9 years at IGN this is the last video I edited: m.youtube.com/watch?v=nStf... 3 people, including me, who worked on this video were laid off, with out notice, just a couple hours after publishing it. It was an honor to work with them and so many others at IGN impacted by these layoffs.

Hey! So after seventeen and a half years, October 2nd will be my last day at IGN. It was genuinely a dream come true to do this thing for so long alongside some of the most talented people on earth. I got to travel the world, meet my heroes, and make a ton of really fun shows and videos. An honor ♥️

Welp. Starting in November, I will no longer be employed by IGN. It's been a hell of a ride and I cannot understate how much of an honor and a privilege the last 11+ years have been. This was a dream job, but the best part of IGN is, was, and always will be the people.

My team had a huge content day today on IGN, covering the launch of Valve's Steam Frame. So this seems like a good time as any to say that I was affected by today's layoffs.

I've been playing Beast of Reincarnation! It oddly digs up a sense of nostalgia for me, like when I played kind-of open world action games for the first time growing up, in the best way. It's rough around the edges here and there, but I'm still enjoying it a lot so far. ~back to the guide mines~

I put together a slideshow for all the suits and outfits in the new Lego Batman game as part of our guide to unlocking them all, but I didn't feel like just snapping the same photo 100 times, so I had some fun with it. Here are a few of my faves (more here www.ign.com/wikis/lego-b...)

Batman sporting his Rainbow Batsuit, leaping out of a ball pit to attack a thug in Carmine Falcone's playhouse... I mean, Iceberg Lounge.

Catwoman wearing her outfit from The Dark Knight Rises, wading through stacks of cash and ready to pocket it all, as Batman shakes his head disapprovingly just off-screen.

Nightwing wearing a unique suit with a face mask and neon blue spray painted emblem made exclusively for Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, as he uses his gadgets to electrify opponents.

Robin wearing his World's Finest outfit, strutting across a circus tightrope through a circle of flames.
