My little PNGtuber got a new look while I play Control Resonant on stream! Nothing super special, but I wanted to give her a cute little office outfit. 🎨

I'm checking JP twitter using the #アワーノーツ hashtag, and I saw content creator Mashi-san tweeted he will "livestream #OurNotes at about 8:00 PM" (Tokyo time), so maybe he thinks the game ought to be playable by then...? So I will go to sleep and hope to wake up to Our Notes finally 😭

I don't post about specific non-internet real-life news here because this is like my marketing platform for my stream, but I just figure I'll at least say this. Black Lives Matter. And there's the door if you think such a statement is somehow offensive.

Tomorrow, Discord will place everyone into an age group using account signals. They claim 90% of users won't have to confirm their age. They are also introducing new verification methods if you do need to verify that you are an adult, including Credit Cards and App Stores.

More than 90% of you won’t be asked to confirm your age. Since our last post about teen safety, we've had to launch age assurance solutions in more places, including Texas and Brazil. Laws requiring age assurance are expanding around the world. Rather than waiting to be told how to do it, we’re launching our own privacy-preserving approach: one that reflects your feedback.
You can check your age group status at User Settings > Account Status. We've estimated your age group automatically from account signals like how long your account has existed or the kinds of servers you're a part of. We don’t look at your messages, calls, or other content. We're launching this over the course of this week, so it may take a few days to reach your account.
If you're in the adult age group (18+), nothing changes. If you're in the teen age group (13-17), you can keep messaging friends, joining voice calls, and participating in non-age-restricted servers, but with additional safety protections that block age-restricted content, spaces, and settings. Otherwise, Discord works the same. More on this below.
We've added several new ways to confirm your age, including some that don't require an ID or selfie (including credit cards). If you're an adult but weren't automatically placed in the adult age group, you can confirm your age group at any time by going to User Settings > Account Status. More on the new options below.

The original version of this was posted on my FAisDM (felicitousArtisan is Darth Mongoose) Tumblr many years ago. I drew it at about 11pm right before going to bed, trying to express something I felt about art. When I woke up it kinda blew up.

Flowchart drawn by Kate Holden in orange, aliases lines reads:
HOW TO BE ANARTIST.
Make some art.-> Does it look terrible? 1. YEAH 2. NO (both lives lead to thesame conclusion box) -> You are an artist -> Make more art

A digital drawing of the character Ginko, from Mushishi. He is sitting and smoking, hands wrapped around his legs. His jacket is pulled over his head, as if to cover it from rain. Beside him are several plants with large leaves, colorful water pours off of them. Little mushi decorate the background.

The last week of August was #mushishi week on tumblr and I made a little 7 page comic about #Ginko going for a swim. Japanese summers are hot and humid and he deserves a break :) #fancomic

The first page of a seven page comic about Ginko from Mushishi. The comic is black and white. This page has two panels. Panel one shows Ginko walking through a forest of pine trees. He's shown from behind at a slightly high angle. He's wearing a flat cone shaped straw hat, a short sleeved shirt, long trousers and his mobile cabinet. He has one hand on his hat.
Panel two shows Ginko from the front, from the waist up. He has taken off his hat and is now fanning himself with it. He looks flushed and uncomfortable.

The second page of a seven page comic about Ginko from Mushishi. The comic is black and white. This page has two panels. Panel one: Ginko is shown from the waist up at a slightly low angle, with the edge of the forest a fair distance behind him. He smiles with his eyes closed as a breeze is playing through his hair, and presumably cools him off a little.
Panel two: Ginko is shown from behind, a full body view. He's standing on the edge of a dune with the sea in front of, but much lower than him, as the dune is rather high. He looks down the dune with one hand on his waist and puts his hat back on.

The first page of a seven page comic about Ginko from Mushishi. The comic is black and white. This page has three panels.
Panel one: ginko jumps from the edge of the dune. For a moment he looks like he's floating. Panel two: a close up of Ginko's legs, as he runs down the sandy slope. Panel three: Ginko's cabinet stands on the beach with his clothes draped over it and his shoes and hat next to it. Something that looks like underpants is about to land on top of the rest of the clothes. Just in the frame is Ginko's bare and hairy leg.
