No that's a good tip thank you!! Digital art helps a little bit with spontaneity because I'm not so afraid to "ruin" sth I worked so long on, but the creativity block is still there. And I've been trying to do more traditional art. I just have to keep trying, I know I can break through eventually! ❤️

Yeah I try to doodle for myself but the problem is more the mental block 😭 like even when it's not for posting, the subconscious pressure keeps me from doing anything. I'll just stare at a blank page for 45 mins bc making art feels hard, but it should just be fun 😭 I'm trying to find the fun again 🥺

I think so too! My health insurance is complicated but I've been trying to figure it out so I can get back on my depression meds 🙃 lmao. That might help. But yeah I wanna loosen up and not be so afraid to make mistakes. I keep stressing myself out so art is tiring rather than fun like it should be 😭

And on the weekends there's always plans and shit happening, and I need to do chores and other adulting or my mental state is destroyed. Is it depression? Is that why I can't draw? When I do make a bit of time for it, I just stare at my sketchbook and can't remember anything I even wanted to draw.

It's just archaic phrasing. It's using "have" as in keep, not possess/eat. You can't keep your cake (forever) and also eat it. It's one or the other.

Same. SUVs are so big now. Even back when they were a bit smaller, they were classified in the USA as "small trucks". And then don't even get me started on the number of pickup trucks EVERYWHERE nowadays!! I freaking hate them. Why does every suburban dad need a giant freaking pickup truck!!!

I HATEEEEE those bright headlights!! 😭 it's so dangerous! Other than the LEDs just being brighter in general, I heard another reason is there's no regulations for the HEIGHT of the headlights! Cars keep getting taller and the headlights keep getting higher too! Someone really needs to regulate them.
