"why does the snake woman have to have tits" why must morning sun glimmer on the freshly fallen snow? why must the crashing waterfall cast a rainbow? think before you speak idiot.

[Pinned Post] - It's been two years since the last one soooo... Hi! I'm Sherrydile, I love playing MMOs, Roleplaying and creative writing, and Gunpla. Other stuff too, but that's what I like to yap about the most. Thread below to be inundated with information about my OCs!

They'd have to treat any of the small races that aren't dwarves or goblins with even an ounce of seriousness for that. 😭

030

And that's it! Thanks for reading about my creatures, I hope you like them!

WoW Alt Lightning round: Sildread Culver - A Worgen Gallant who styled her adult life after the fairytales she grew up on. Loves outdated fashion and dueling! Sybelladormi - A Bronze Dragon Time Janitor on permanent furlough for meddling with the timeways to benefit her obsession: The Kaldorei

120

XIV Alt lightning round pt2: Luci Tsuwamono - A Kugane author that writes niche WLW novels. Her breakout hit "Sunset of Scales" was considered groundbreaking at the time for its Hyur-Lamia pairing.

100

XIV Alt lightning round: Ysfir Ayit - An Elemental Dancer from a Viera village on the border of Golmore. She's on a quest to recover relics stolen from her village! Ququla Kir Qula - A Garlean Conscript and Magitek Engineer. She's the sole survivor of a bio-mechanical weapons research disaster.

Next, my WoW main, Yoirri! From servitude to the Faithless Sethrak to the island prison of Tol Dagor, Yoirri's watched most of her life pass by from within the confines of a cage. Released to join the Horde, she's spent the last few years rebuilding her life from nothing. It's going well?!

120

First, my XIV main, Ty'at Kab'an! Once a highwaywoman that preyed upon the trade routes of Kozama'uka. After a falling out with her criminal colleagues, Ty'at Kab'an found an opportunity to turn herself in and alter her life for the better. Now she travels the star to learn, fight, and feast!

I'm making a new pinned post that doubles as a blorbo lineup. You won't survive all these creatures. Neither will I... Ough...

140

Hrothtober 2026 - Day 6: Hush One day, a young Xbr'aal woman ran away from home, and became a terror upon the roads, content to steal from honest tradefolk, and fight anyone that would stop her. But no one ever asks why, what drove her to do this?

A younger Ty'at Kab'an sits in a black void with a fearful expression on her face. Meanwhile, an older Xbr'aal woman looms over her from behind, one hand gripping Ty'at Kab'an's shoulder while the other covers her mouth.

There's text floating in the void beside them, which reads:

"Brother, can I learn to hunt with you?"
"The answer is still no, Ty'at Kab'an. Mother would have our heads if you came along..."

"I want to wrestle too!"
"Oh, you're... Xax Soj's lil red Br'aax, right? M-maybe some other time, yeah?"

"Surely you can teach me how to use a bow or magic! We could keep it a secret from her..."
"I admire your enthusiasm, truly. But the whole village knows of your mum's fury now... I can't teach you, I'm sorry."

"I promise I'll be careful! Please, I just want to hang out with my friends!"
"I couldn't bear to lose my only daughter. Come. Stay. It's safe here!"

060

Sherrydile @sherrydile.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Tell us about them when you're ready! (I should make one too some day. I have a Bronze who is kind of a joke character, so like, a real one.)

Hrothtober 2026 - Day 4: Ancient Someone's a little self conscious about their age, even though she and scientists are baffled that she doesn't look that old. Must be something in Tural's water, or maybe a dietary secret! A workout routine, perhaps? Featuring Ty'at Kab'an's friend Alys Jimmoix!

A bright red Xbr'aal is laughing to herself while absently saying "Yeah, hah hah... I'm in my fifties, I'm SO old now. Who would honestly date an old cat like me?"

A black haired Miqo'te is in the foreground stage whispering to the viewer with a devious smirk on her lips as she informs you "Would. Still would."

Night thoughts while I struggle to sleep: I want to make a Tauren character so badly, but every time I level one up, gear them, and write out a basic TRP... They don't stick, ever. Am I doomed for only the tiger and the fox occupy my mind? No room for a cow? 😭

Hrothtober 2026 - Day 3: Kindred Ty'at Kab'an comes from a big family, and even though her criminal past has strained relations with them, she and her big brother, Kab'an Ogaw, still get along famously!

070

Let me play a Naga or Gnoll in any type of WoW and I will get weird (positive) Lionine/Saberon would let me be Ty'at Kab'an in TWO games, which might be too powerful. One is already too much!

130

They might judge... Just a little! 🤭 Tall Pandaren GF could fix Yoirri though, so there's only benefits.

Let's do it! There are Tall Pandaren GFs out there waiting for us to find them!

Hey, also signed up for this program. Got an update a couple days ago saying she was "on her way", but the only clue as to when was a nondescript picture of the ocean horizon, no land in sight 😟

Hrothtober 2026 - Day 2: Pride "Looks like I win again. Why don't you tell your bandit buddies to give up and go home!" While not a bandit anymore, Ty'at Kab'an still likes to remind the holdouts that Kozama'uka is still her turf.

061

Some of these Hrothtober posts won't be IC, just to be clear (I think I'd have a conniption trying to get some of these prompts to make sense otherwise) Also... I intended to hide a little guy in every post, which I did here, but immediately forgor the next few days...

030

Hrothtober 2026 - Day 1: Wander If I had a nickel for every FF where we get lost in the Alzadaal Undersea Ruins, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice! At least this one is one long winding hallway.

191

Sorry for ranting, I was holding onto that for awhile! I will post tiger when I get home from work!

Maybe I'm just being overly sensitive to someone pointing out a funny coincidence, but I don't relish painting targets on my fellow RPers, other'ing them, or making them feel like their character idea is overabundant or unoriginal. Rant over, limiting interaction cuz I don't want attention 🐯

050

Calling out gender population in a scene especially is odd. In a hobby where people love to play with and express gender in all kinds of different ways, singling out "the one straight cis masc guy" in the RP makes things awkward for everyone.

140

for those in the minority, it usually comes with the "joke" of being "the token x/y/z" and it immediately puts either spotlight on them, or isolates them, sometimes even both For the majority, it has this backhanded commentary of "there's too many x/y/z here, shame on you for playing whats popular"

nyamei 🌸 @nyameipol.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I have an RP pet peeve, if you'll indulge me to rant a little: I think it's really weird/discomforting when someone OOCly points out that a gathering has an abundance or lack of a certain [race/class/job/background/gender]. Intentional or not, it makes the RP awkward, imo.

If it's the bozo whom I think it is, they're a massive AI shill and an annoying one at that. Block them, nothing to be gained trying to reason with that.

"yall i don't CARE if Lilith is "stereotypical" that's my name. I don't walk up to dudes named david or steve and tell them their name is stereotypical. Stop telling trans girls their names are stereotypes"

Give me the name(s) of this person. There are single-headed ogre casters in VANILLA WoW, and I will nuke them with this information!

real alphas don't use feral souls #ffxiv #dawntrail

Parody of the exploitable image format "Things to say when meeting her dad". FFXIV default character "Meteor Survivor" in his "Dawntrail" look (slicked back hair, stubble, wearing a Viper's outfit) stands in front of a black background, arms crossed and with a stern expression, rendered entirely in black and white. To his left is a large heading in white and red text (colored section marked with asteriks) reading "THINGS TO SAY *WHEN VISITING SOLUTION 9*". Below is a list of presumed statements with some words colored in for unclear reasons:
• Where do you keep the *electrope*
• which *sentry* do you trust the least
• what are your intentions with *tural*
• welcome to the *source*
• i brought my own *aether*
• Do you accept *gil* here?
• sell me this *resonator*
• name 10 *dead people*
• let me speak to the *soul cells* directly

I had a super-duper excellent time at the Dance of the Earthmother event tonight. Don't normally get to stay up RPing until 2am, but it was fulfilling and worth it! Helped a lot giving Yoirri a reason to be there, and she might have made a new friend!
