Gonna diet a bit. Not anything extreme, but I do need to think about my health in my late 40s and 50s now that I’m 30. It’ll be tough with my ED history, but I think I can do it. Besides any weight I may gain back should be more altered thanks to HRT.

Some trans women have to shave body hair daily even after years of HRT. Things aren’t fair and not everyone has a same starting point. I just wish many tutorials weren’t sugar coating that. 2/2 I’ll get it down eventually

That’s an optimistic view, but tbh, some men just sound people sound more androgynous. No matter their birth sex. A big part of transitioning is genetics. I’m lucky enough to not have to shave my arms, never shave my abdomen/chest cuz no hair and legs only once every 2 weeks. And 1/2

I have been full on intentially girl moding at work for over 3 months now. I dressed more masc/androgynous before. Customers are nicer to me. More coworkers are talking to me out of the blue. Talked about it with my coach and how weird it was. “You did your hair and makeup and look cute. Duh”

Learning makeup alone while reading guides I think is the perfect description of how lonely it is being trans. I didn’t learn it with other girls at slumber parties, giggling at mistakes. I stared at a blank image, and copied it. The pay off is 1000% worth it, but it’s a sad thought.

I unfortunately see a lot of “it’s too late for me….” Posts about transitioning as a trans woman from people in their early 20s. I didn’t take this seriously until like 6 months after my 26th birthday and I look great, but more importantly, I want to see my future. It’s never too late for HRT.
