UPS failed to deliver a single bag of Amazon subscribe and save pistachios because no one was home to sign for them. Absurd.

Last weekend’s birthday cake for my dad: lemon cake with raspberry filling and raspberry buttercream

Today’s random act of cake: Mississippi Mud

A cake that is not frosted on the sides sitting on a white cake saver on a dark wood table. The cake layers are chocolate, and are covered in chocolate ganache, which is then topped with chocolate/kahlua whipped cream which is then topped with crushed Oreos. There are 3 layers so the assembled cake is a little like a lasagna.
