Tested out a paint night (for a fundraiser). This is test #1 where I wrote up the instructions while painting it. Test #2 will be using the written instructions to paint it again.

Thanks! It didn’t last a day before I put stuff on it but to be fair the other small adulting task I did was get groceries for us plus a few extra for the grow clinic at a local hospital…. I realized you might recognize something on this table….

Looks like @persisyu.bsky.social overcame all the odds with hard work and perseverance and Mike Rush tried to coast by and ultimately failed. Just goes to show ya gotta show up!!!

Like let’s be clear, this ad looks like it’s for a Republican (and also mike rush apparently has only 2 usable photos…..) To Rush’s credit it’s not AI slop.

Hey @jonathancohn.bsky.social my letter to the editor telling Rush to show his work and debate @persisyu.bsky.social was published in today’s letters to the editor in the Bulletin - alongside another letter that passively-aggressively called you out. You’ve made the big time!

My long almost 2.5 column letter to the editor telling mike rush to show his work and back up his statements and debate Persis Yu, followed by a much shorter letter criticizing “the head of Progressive Mass” for “using the word veteran on his sign.” Which was NOT the criticism. The criticism from Cohn was that the sparse text which has only “Senator Mike Rush” and “Veteran” combined with the color/design, makes it looks like Rush is a Republican. Followed up with the sentiment that since he’s a constituent, he knows Rush is basically a Republican. This letter writer completely missed the point!

Today is “wacky clothes day” at kid1’s camp. It’s not particularly wacky IMO but he wanted a Rubik’s cube shirt. For $3 I downloaded a file with 9 different cube views and used my cutter to make a stencil and then painted this with fabric paint. I’m proud of my work!!!

I did! And I wrote up instructions for a friend to do so as well! (She requested “craft kits” for her recovery post surgery to remove colon cancer, so I’m sending her supplies and instructions, I’ve already sent 2 boxes and 10 pages of handwritten instructions….)

13 wide sections filled with either triangles or semi circles, and narrower sections in between either empty, scribbled in, or with a sort of “road” or straight stitch pattern - series of dashes.

Most of the fill ins are horizontal or vertical lines.

It is extremely aesthetically pleasing in my
opinion….and to me, breathtaking.

Doing my best! I might be a bit salty that where I lived in my 20’s is all bike lanes/paths everywhere and these days my one little corner of the city of Boston has very little. Now I’m biking again and still……no bike infrastructure!!!

Wonder Woman circa 2026 turned in the fossil fuel guzzling private invisible jet and now takes the next generation Wonder Woman to school on an ebike. (I cannot overstate how much biking makes me feel like a badass. It combines the amazing feeling of self sufficiency with endorphins from exercise)

I am at an indoor water park and they have lots of decor and murals and I love this one pole with rocks because it is very much evoking something that is not a pile of rocks.
