It's a cool late August Sunday in Portland which means it's tomato processing day. Roasting probably 30 lbs of cherry tomatoes with some balsamic. They'll get vacuum packed and frozen. Also canning 25 lbs of various paste tomatoes. Lord save me.

My sister and her husband are opening the Forage Grove food hall and tap room in Forest Grove today. I'm incredibly proud of all their hard work and if you're on the west side come thru for some delicious tacos and beer and meet some alpacas.
