Another review out the door! I had hoped that Nivalis Nights could course correct a lot of the issues present in Cloudpunk, but while this is better in some respects, it fails in others. Don't regret playing, just wish it was so much more

Had a browse through the Triple-i event from earlier and while a lot of it wasn't for me, definitely a few good ones in there. Definitely hyped for Pony Island 2 after Inscryption being so good, and ReVamp looks great. Couple others I'm curious about too

I don't think there's a worse feeling than when a game is overwhelmingly ambitious and not only doesn't live up to those ambitions, but almost actively tries to fight you from finding your way to those ambitions

Now that I've had some more time with it I'm not as impressed as I was, but it's honestly still a great game! Does a lot to improve upon some of the baselines that Quake 1 set up and feels way smoother as a result Just some of the creativity was lost somewhere in translation

Gave the Belmont's Curse demo a spin and overall pretty good. I have some concerns for certain things being problematic later on, but the visuals and general feel are great. Love the idea of tarot cards representing abilities Def wanna check it out at launch

Wrapped up Infinite Warfare's campaign and yeah, that was great! Granted there's some pretty big issues I got with the core narrative, but everything else is a massive improvement over the dark ages CoD campaigns were in for a few games before its release

Love or hate Deadlock, I have to say one of more underratedly good things the team is doing is fleshing out the world early through all the dialogue. It's a small thing, but it gives much more reason to give a damn about the characters, alongside the incredible character designs

Latest review up! Had a ton of fun with Well Dweller, as to be expected from a Kyle Thompson metroidvania. A little on the easy side, but still a blast that keeps the momentum flowing while being shockingly hilarious

Watched Resident Evil tonight and big surprise, it was great. Had some problems toward the end, but it was very faithful while still trying to do its own thing. That and it was lovingly goofy at times Faithfulness complainers need to find a hobby instead of staring at the wiki
