Reviews for eps 9&10 of AHS13 are up. - Ben/Mr. Nas have way too chemistry to be father and son. - Ben is clearly a new character and now related to an old character. - Nas calling Constance out on her moral failings was overdue. - Go away Ashley. - Mallory's time travelling antics revealed.

First two episodes of VisionQuest are off to a decent start. I do like that they're going a different direction to Tommy than with Billy. Vision's great but I do miss Wanda. Get her back for the MCU.

I watched the Bambi and Pinocchio movies from that Twisted Childhood Universe. I also caught up with the 1963 version of The Raven. I'll try and throw in a few more Poe adaptations this month.

Review for Carrie is up. I mostly liked it but wasn't crazy about every change. Top performances from Summer H. Howell, Samantha Sloyan and Alison Thornton.

We're definitely going to get a Season 2.

It was definitely aimed for casual audience more than comic book fans but that worked in it's favour.

Reviews for eps 4-6 of #AHS13 are up. - Jessica Lange as that British PM was priceless. - Ben's backstory was actually interesting. Ashley's also manipulating him. - Coven witches Vs. Cortez Devils was the highlight. - Pacing could be better but stronger episodes this week

Seventh episode of Lanterns was a good backstory one for Hal. Looking forward to the finale.

First three episodes reviews for #AHS13 are up. - Ben DeSoto really doesn't like 13, huh? - Mr. Nas is clearly the Devil in need of sacrifices to regain his strength and youth. - Constance Langdon cannot be trusted. - Need more of the Coven ladies. - Tate vs. Kai is so much fun to watch.

Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story review is up on my blog and Letterboxd now. Ella Beatty is good as Borden but Vicky Krieps on her dual roles did steal the show. I'm more mixed on Sarah Paulson's version of Aileen Wuornos.

I'll be watching #BBUK more sporadically this series but it does seem to have a decent mix of people in there so far. I'm also concerned this might be the last ITV series but we'll see.

The Runner kind of works if you treat it like an unintended comedy. As an action thriller, it's very middle of the road.
