What a week! Biggest rejection so far in my writing career (Views From the Overlook - made it to the final round, but alas, no). Had total knee replacement done for both of my knees. I expected a world of pain, but it's been manageable. Also startedwriting a new novel, a step away from horror.

Bayman Books is going out of business. This means very soon, my novella, The Shadow of Memory, will no longer be available. It'll be a hard sell to get another publisher to take it on, that leaves me with self-publishing it, or add it to my upcoming collection. Not the best news.

If Doug Ford abolishes rent control, it'll create the largest housing crisis in Ontario. Rent is too high already with a one bedroom going for $2400 a month. And without rent control, I've seen landlords raising it $500+ after a year. The elderly, students, and others are at risk of being homeless.
