After giving it one more go, I decided to drop Control Resonant. Combat isn’t exciting me any more since it just mashing several buttons. Story haven’t hooked me since the start of the game. Some puzzles are just buggy/annoying to solve I enjoyed the first Control, but this isn’t for me.

I’m only a few hours in but even within the first hour, the gameplay immediately shows it’s a step up right from the get go with the matchstick/twists on metroidvania mechanics Also, this is his best art full stop. Same whacky designs, incredible environmental detail, lighting & color work

Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve First Impressions + The most intense game that I had played this year. You really have to focus to pass missions. + The sound design is phenomenal making every moment feel incredible. + A lot of different customization options for you to handle each mission.

I failed mission 4 in Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve four times. Somehow on my last attempt I beat it and got a S rank on the mission. These missions are intense.

Combat got a bit better after defeating a certain boss ( such a fun fight with the music) I would say the main issue with combat is a lot of enemies attack you, you dodge it, and then you just spam the attack button until they die without them doing anything. Constantly staggering them.

Control Resonant First Impressions + A lot of hidden paths and items to explore + Reminds me of playing the game Prototype + Beautiful visual storytelling - Combat can become boring really fast - Not having cancel animations to dodge attacks. Have to wait for the animation is over to dodge

Even though I am enjoying Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave a lot there are some things I wish would change. - Should allow you to move more than one turn on the map - Not a big fan of the recruiting system - Dungeons are a joke when you can have a party member block all/most of the damage #fefw

The Mermaid Mask first impressions (2h): + Phenomenal voice acting that brings the characters to life as you try to solve the murder case + The animation of the characters are done extremely well + Wonderful OST to listen to while playing +/- Some of the puzzles can be challenging with hints

Just finished Silo season 3 and definitely an improvement over the last season. It started out slow and I wasn’t fully invested until halfway through the season. Can’t wait to watch the final season next year ^_^
